  • Arguing or asking Thunderfoot intelligent questions might help and be used but never forget that it's the gospel message that has power to save him and not questions that will get Jim a win on a debate. That's probably what Jim should have told him, the gospel.

  • Jim would say: "Thunder00t, are you absolutely certain that there is no God?"

Thunderf00t would say: "No, of course not."

You just wasted 5 minutes of your life (and mine) arguing with yourself about a position you don't understand. If you didn't think that you were going to live forever you might appreciate the value of those 5 minutes. It's a shame I will never get them back.

  • I dont know 100% that Santa Claus doesnt exist.Does that make him real?

  • It looks like Bible Jim has learned how to weave word games.

  • @gypsydisciple let people have their own faith.

but if that faith is slowing the progress of man * cough * like Christians * cough *

make them believe in something else. (that isn't harmful to the developing society)

    Nazurea

  • hahaha

this guy says he has knowledge, then he says he has faith...

which is it? faith or knowledge???

  • 4:14 Hopefully Thunderf00t will come to know Krishna as his personal savior.......... ooops!! I got the wrong fairty tale right?? lol

  • SARCASM TIME

3:00 Yes Jim, Thunderf00t doesn't know that there is a paradise full of women waiting for the muslims who die for Allah!! By the way do you have faith that such paradise doesn't exist? (sarcasm)

  • Furthermore, if you really DID have that knowledge-fraction, which confirms god,why don't you present it to everybody? If it would be reasonable evidence, your knowledge would be an intersubjective peice of information which you could release to the public as information. If this isn't the case, and your knowledge is only a subjective experience, then there is a high chance you are just wrong. If your knowledge can't be confirmed, how can you be sure yourself? Just "feeling" it, doesnt cut it.

  • Thunderf00t wouldn't have said that there is absolutely no god. He just would have said, that there is not any evidence supporting that there is a god, in which case it would be crazy to believe in him. If you would believe in anything which has as little evidence as gods existence, then you could just as well believe in a flying spaghetti monster or all sorts of weird things that do not show enough or as little evidence as there is to a god.

  • I'm sure TF would have said that the existence of god is illogical, not that there just isn't because he has faith that there isn't. There's a big difference. And I'm still yet to see any of this mountain of evidence for a god that creationists seem to bang on about.

  • Sorry BJ that did not convince me at all!

  • his entire explanation is useless because Thunderfoot never would have said that he knows there is absolutely no god. He would have said that he refuses to believe in one until there is evidence.

  • Wow! BibleJim just beat himself (off)!

Like Jim Carrey in Liar Liar, "I'M KICKING MY ASS, DO YOU MIND?!"

  • BibleJim "Are you saying that there is absolutly no god?"

Tfoot "No, but there's absolutly no evidence to back up the claim that there is one"

BibleJim "The evidence is off the charts"

    Tfoot "Present one"

    Biblejim "..."

    End of debate.

  • Did he just beat thunderfoot in a debate by answering his questions on thunderfoot's behalf???

  • Arguments about absolute knowledge are a distraction from any real conversation.

No religious person ABSOLUTELY knows there is a God, and no atheist absolutely knows there is no God.

  • i am claiming the victory and my hat is better so i win the argument. sorry bible jim but yours is just too creole chic. therefor i am superior.

    thanks for playing.

  • they might be but theres too much evidence saying theres not

  • Bible Jim looks and sounds like he quit the booze and drugs just a hair too late.

  • it funny how he fails to mention one piece of evidence that would point to a god i mean come on inlighten us

  • I would ask for evidence but I know your just holding an empty sack.

  • This guy is just attacking a strawman like an old pirate, arrr i would stab him and then he would punch me but I would dodge and then, see here, see this is what would happen next.

    Fuck

  • @shandcunt

ROFL! Aaargh, he's no match for TFs Captain Jack beard. It contains extra neurons like the might of Samson.

  • I don't think you would have don't quite so well if you well actually debating thunderf00t. Indeed, you really didn't do that well even when you could words in his mouth. I don't have any faith that you will ever come to see how flawed your argument is.

  • Interesting questions he raises, but the debate was actually not about if god exists but weather the theory of evolution or the bible was the better way to explain what we see when we dig in the mud.

Bible Jim's argument is based on the principle that since it cant be show X isn't X then anything follows from that and in particular that Bible Jim is right in whatever he claims. Nice try. ;)

  • Why do all theists tell the same crap about "proof of non-existence of god"? This is so stupid.

  • This man makes me sad...

  • lmfao...wow...way to win an arguement with yourself...wtf...wheres this overwhelming evidence of a god???...under his hat?...lol

  • @CrimsonDragonStar They say Throw a rock into a pack of dogs, and the one that yells is the one that got hit. I think Jim got you so keep barking

  • @gypsydisciple lmmfao...really...thats all youve got to say...pulling half ass quotes is a pathetic way to try to win an arguement, especially when they have nothing to do with the subject

  • @gypsydisciple

This guy is far more intriguing than Ray Comfort, but the argument doesn't conteract anything TF has said. TF doesn't have "Faith", he was from a positive onus, by which nothing is affirmed until it's proven.

This argument is just a way of trying to drag TFs rationalizing into the same manner. It's also a dichotomist argument, proposing simple tit for tats, when what is reasonable to assert can be gleaned from the trend. The trend is that in time, the mystery unfolds.

  • Horrible argument.

  • @TheReasonParty So then answer all the questions and lets see how you do

  • @gypsydisciple So you are claiming victory to an argument that never happened ? you are presuming you know what thunderfoot would say to each thing you had to say ? what an absolute stupid video. What a prideful and deluded man you are

  • @T

  • Interesting. Very interesting. I do like some of the points in this video.

  • I know there is absolutely no evidence for God. How about that?

I love how this guy repeatedly says what thunderfoot would say... Amazing that he can defeat thunderfoot in a debate if he puts words in thunderfoot's mouth... What a retard.

  • wow, thats a great way to win a debate. monologue. i wondered where i was going wrong

  • I love how he has a debate with himself. Obviously he isn't going to point out his flaws in his own argument, that is going on in his head.

  • @0rangeFlamingo why don't you try and point them out? you been watching this video for 11 months I think it's time to prove your point!

  • @gypsydisciple Maybe i will someday, but i merely watch this for laughs. I indeed have pointed a few out in a far earlier post. But I am starting to give up and on trying to talk sense into Christians who have already made their mind up. No matter what evidence lay before them.

  • Ray had him stuttering quite a few times.

  • @benthemiester

No, Ray didn't have him do anything. Thunder is not a professional public figure. He doesn't get in front of the camera on a regular basis. He was nervous, but not because of Ray.

What I saw was Ray avoiding Thunder's arguments like the plague. He completely blew off speciation being observed.

As others have pointed out, why won't Ray debate someone like Matt Dillahunty?

As far as the guy in this video- nice strawman to go with that straw hat!

  • @berringerfan First off Thunderfoot asked for the debate. if he can't hang with the big boys he should go back to the hole he came out of! What I seen was him repeating I DON'T KNOW 100 times and stuttering like a fool

  • @gypsydisciple

First off, you avoided the fact that Ray can't expalin away that speciation (macroevolution) has been observed. You can't explain why Ray won't take on "big boys". Can we say coward?

If "i don't know" is the intellectually honest answer then it's your own personal problem if you can't handle that.

And the dude in the video is just ranting a strawman!!!!

    The only fool is you!

  • @berringerfan #1macro evolution is not fact #2 Rays been calling out Dawkins and he is running from him #3 You can't handle the fact that we know the answer but because you don't know you think we can't know. #4 If it's a strawman tare it down! lets see what you got! #5 God calls you a fool ps 14:1 The fool has said in his heart there is no God

  • @gypsydisciple

#1 Micro and macroevolution are the same thing. I used the word macro because I knew that would draw you out and you have been totally exposed and pwned! Evolution is evolution. Speciation is observed. Thunder used the example of the California Salamander. Ray and you continue to ignore the facts.

#2 I never said anything about Dawkins. This also covers what a strawman is for #4. I'm surprised you don't know what a strawman is. Dawkins no longer debates creationists. cont.

  • @berringerfan that's like saying if I can jump I can fly because flying is a long jump! God has placed limits and until you's can prove that we can cross the limits he set you have nothing but word games

  • @gypsydisciple

Very incoherant and you have in no way addressed the facts that berringer stated.

  • @gypsydisciple

#2 There are plenty of rationalists and non-paranormalists that are willing to debate an irrational paranormalist like Ray Comfort. Ray has been challenged by Matt Dillahunty. He is host of an Austin, Tx (large market) tv show that it's INTERNATIONALLY broadcast by podcast. Ray can "witness" to hundreds of thouands. He's obviously too scared.

#3 You don't know. You have an opinion without evidence.

#5 I don't care what a murdering homophobic chauvinistic character thinks.

  • @berringerfan #2 Matt Dillahunty is a no body looking to make a name for himself #4 WRONG>>>Creation is evidence of a creator #5 We will see how you feel about this on judgment day

  • @gypsydisciple

Okay- you figured that since you are already losing to go pull out an ad hominem and start to special plead.

If you like it or not homo habilis, homo ergaster, and homo erectus (amongst several others) were here and they are primates, like us, who are part of our family tree. Since evolution is a fact, there was no Adam. With no Adam we have no original sin. No originl sin- no need for the mission of Jesus. However, I'm looking forward to your judgment day threats again.

  • @gypsydisciple Matt can't be that much of a nobody- you know who he is. He has more credentials than Thunderfoot and as stated by berringer, has an international audience. There is a double standard applied by Comfort. Too bad for him.

As everyone already knows, Dawkins, again as stated by berringer, no longer debates creationists. Ray is just blowing smoke when he "challenges" him.

  • @gypsydisciple ohhh....really?!...god said that to turn against him is bad...in a book about god...wow, didnt see that coming, lmao what do you expect ppl to write? "nah, its cool, gods ok if you use common sense and dont believe all the crazy shit 12 people said i did, but in 12 different ways in 6 different places" using a book to prove a character in the book exists doesnt prove anything...i can preach all i want, but harry potter isnt real...its a shame so many ppl get caught up so easily...

  • Atheists (at least, intelligent ones (Dawkins and Thunderf00t have both said this if I'm not mistaken)), don't claim there is no God with absolute certainty.

Atheists do not believe in a God because there is no valid evidence to support the existence of a God. When demonstrable evidence is presented to us, we will believe in a God.

This guy's question is not as original as he seems to think. Doubt he's ever heard of the teapot, eh?

  • @PSNBloodraid It's also funny that he assumes that Thunderf00t would answer each and every question exactly as he claims he would have answered it. If even a single question was answered differently, looks like this guy's plan is fucked.

  • Kent Hovind & Bible Jim both would have handed thunderfoot his walking papers.

  • awesome video! thanks for posting!

  • Thunderfoot's reply would be along the lines of "I see no evidence for your God" which puts him in a position of not having to provide evidence for God not being real. The debate was about EVOLUTION which has noting to do with God.

Bible Jim thinks he is a smart guy but clearly is not

  • what a complete moron.

  • no god because e=mc2

  • I have stumbled on the fraction of knowledge that shows creationism is a crock!

To support such a belief you have to deny radioactice decay, the speed of light, genetics and other important scientific fundamentals.

I was once a creationist... it is an unsustainable belief

... this guy doesn't because he claims to know all yet little at the same time.. hypocracy!

Running a theoretical like this and claiming victory is simply dishonest

Jesus would be horrified at this blasphemous trite.

  • ..Way to go bible Jim....."We shall not be moved."

  • Love it - BIBLE JIM and his first question is defendind A god - not HIS god lol.

  • ? what evidence that points to the existence of god?, i haven't seen none, and appart of the bible and other dilusionnal persons like bible jim.

  • @burny6666 Jesus for one!

  • 'then how do you know that i haven't stumbled on that fraction of percentage of known knowledge that reveals that there is a god', ok .... prove it to me

  • world famous? i would be lucky to find anyone in one 1000 miles who has heard of him.

  • the answers he puts in thunderfoots mouth aren't quiet up to his standard :D

  • I love this

The guy with the hat and red shirt is onto it.

    well done

  • Thunderf00t wouldn't say something like there is absolutely no God. This guy is putting words into people's mouth that he wants to hear because then he will have a comeback for it. LOL!!! I had a good laugh at this one.

  • Omg, I just cannot believe this man...

  • If only Thunderfoot was intelligent enough to argue with himself like Bible Jim he would see the error of his ways.

  • This is the most idiotic reasoning I've ever heard. No, I take that back. I hear even MORE stupid on FOX News.

This man loves his God, but has lost touch with reality. His foundation is his friends in church and their opinion of him. He lives for them, not everyone else. He is small minded and probably a complete hippocrit.

  • Are you ready, BB?

  • Why MBforJesus? Are you threatening me?

Because that's what Christians like to do. First they threaten you with hell fire and damnation, like you just did to me, then they are often likely to move into verbal threats of physical kinds. In general Christians are more emotional and prone to violence than atheists or pagans. Emotions are strengthened from repititious fervential prayer, long swaying songs in church, and emotional pulpit speeches.

  • "Are you threatening me?"

If I care about you, would I not want you to use a safe alternate route if you were on one for which the bridge in the fog was out?

"prone to violence" by definition makes one UNchristian (Matt 7:16). By all means, please respectfully hold those who claim Christ to that standard.

I don't want to threaten you. On the contrary, I want you to experience the joy of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Can't make you; just want you to.

  • can't prove a negative... don't need to prove or "have faith" in the absence of something. It's simply enough to observe the absence...

  • If I prove to you that the desk my computer is on is made of wood, I am also proving it is not made of metal or yoghurt. Proof is a demonstration of properties. Everything that exists has properties. Something that doesn't exist (exists only in the imagination) doesn't have properties. That is why it can't be proven. That is also why the burden of proof is on he who alleges. He is the one who must demonstrate the properties.

  • We don't need to prove any thing. if you want to reject salvation you can do so and when you die if you was right you have nothing to worry about and if your wrong you will burn in hell forever. My job is only to warn you I don't have to prove a thing because if you reject salvation it's your lost

  • If you want me to believe your message, you're going to have to prove it to me.

  • @gypsydisciple And how, good sir, do you not know that Islam is the correct religion? Or Judaism? You will burn in their respective hells, just like I will burn in yours. Pascals wager only works if you are a 17th century eurocentric...

  • not true. Islam is based on works and prayer so I am covered if that was true.

  • oh so your just trying to cover as many bases as you can just in case?

  • @xaviermt1 Allah never walked the earth!! also,Allah is a pagan moon god!!

  • Amen!

  • @destin325 im an atheist, but i love the burn you just put on this jackass!...lol

  • @gypsydisciple and if you reject reality, the loss is yours...i dont have to prove a thing...if you are right, then you will spend eternity...forever and ever...praising god...endlessly...all youll do for time beyond your imagination is kneel and praise...thats your reward...thats the pathetic carrot you dangle before us, and you wonder why we so easily cast it aside...your heaven sounds rather tedious at best...and if youre wrong, you wasted your entire life only die and be no more...

  • @CrimsonDragonStar I love the way you took hell out of the picture. praising God endlessly is what I wish to do! praising your self is what you wish to do! but it will not be endlessly. In hell you will hate your self for rejecting salvation and loving the pathetic carrot of sin

  • @gypsydisciple in my mind, bowing down before some self-righteous prick for eternity is hell...that was my whole point, and in what way do i praise myself?...is that how you see it?...either someone praises god or themselves??...there are many other options...its sad your mind is so closed off...and what "sin" do i love??...you sure do make alot of assumptions..but then, that is the nature of religion

  • The simple fact it is impossible that anything can come form oblivion.

Then through billions of mutations (of which the only proof today is loss of information and oddities such as cows with a fifth leg hanging form their throat) became completely complex organisms.

Not to mention The first life-form "evolved" from inanimate life.

A fossil record that only proves cats have always been cats and dogs have always been dogs.

Jim has said it perfectly: it is a FAITH based belief.

  • You can't argue this effectively when you have such a simplistic and mistaken view of the evidence.

  • you say it is impossible for anything to come from oblivion yet supposedly your god did

  • @0rangeFlamingo God is eternal! there must be eternal something or eternal nothing!

  • @SAUNDERSacts2618 an eternal something or eternal nothing? so basically you're saying that god is eternal ... but he might not be? why can't the universe be eternal?

  • 3:46

"There is so much evidence pointing towards the existence of god."

I'm sorry, what evidence are we talking about here?

  • Gypsydisciple and every person who sees this video are already atheists because you don't believe in the ancient Greek, ancient Roman, Hindu, Bhuddist, American Indian, ancient Egyptian, Nordic, Shinto, and other religions' gods. In the eyes of those who believe those faiths, you are actually classified as an atheist to them. The difference between me and gypsydisciple is that I happen to believe in one fewer god than he or she does. That's the only difference. We're all people. Let's move on

  • But on Judgment day you will not face the Gods you listed none of the Gods you listed created the world and none of the offered you eternal life none of the died for you. So now that the facts are right you can move on if you wish but remember this see will all stand before my God for Judgment after death are you ready to face him if you died right now?

  • That's cool. Should I face your god, I'll ask him squarely to his face, "Why did you go to such great lengths to hide yourself?"

If you really think about it, a better behavior for your god to have is to live amongst his creations so that he can give love to them, listen to them, comfort them, etc.. I'd totally dig a god that I could work through my problems with in person. Ever wonder why he only does this while invisible without speaking?

  • F50 tube- perhaps I'm misinformed as well. Your point has no standing whatsoever. God does not have to be a dictator of attitude or action to exist. God does not swoop in before bad things happen to prevent them from happening- that would make him a tyrant. In fact he is a patient God who allows things to happen for a brief time, yet not forever. Your pre-conceived notion that God has to act in your time frame to exist are of no relevance to anything except in your own mind.

  • Atheism doesnt have to mean that one has absolute knowledge of god not existing. Atheism, lack of faith in god (due to lack of evidence)

  • This is from the dictionary Atheism... the doctrine or belief that there is no God..... so your wrong Atheism means you think you have absolute knowledge of NO GOD. agnostic is another story

  • doctrine or belief does not equal knowledge. Theist = belief in god, Atheist = no belief in god, Gnostic = knowledge of god, Agnostic = no knowledge of god.

  • there is no God is an absolute statement so it is claiming absolute knowledge of no God

  • The statement by itself "there is no god" is a knowledge based statement. Going back to your dictionary definition "...the doctrine or belief that there is no God", is a statement about belief. I mean, it has the word belief in it. How much more clearer do you want it to be?

  • Good Video Jim! Very good insights as usual:)

  • dumb old vagrant

  • I've never heard of bible Jim. I'm sure Ray did just fine :)

  • It cannot be proven or disproven that there is or isn't a god with facts and evidence. What i personally can be certain about is that the god that you claim to love and believe in is a fairytale. One main reason (amongst many others) is the problem of evil. As soon as you claim that a god is omniscient, omnibenevolent and omnipotent at the same time, well you have a huge problem. Look it up because you're obviously not aware nor informed about why atheists have their reasons for disbelief.

  • there is no fact that there is a god u moron...

  • We love you Jim please do not say Ray lost because there is no comparison when your speaking spirit and truth against head knowledge. Please stick up for Ray he is a good man of God.

  • Send me an email proving evolution is wrong. I just want the truth and until I find evidence there is such a god, I wont believe in him. I was born in a christian community As a child yeah god is great but then I slowly realize its just a fairytale.:)

  • Typical Christian Arrogance,

  • All of this went over your head and your calling this Arrogance LOL Prove him wrong send me a e-mail proving him wrong!

  • talking circles !

  • He doesn't have "faith" that there is no god. He just doesn't have sufficient evidence that there is one. He doesn't have a valid reason to believe that there is one. He knows BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT that there isn't one. We can't claim absolute certainty of the unknown but there is a little thing called "burden of proof" and it lies with the CLAIMANT! You make the claim - it is up to you prove it, not the other way around! I don't know why it's so hard to understand and accept.

  • It's simple you believe God exists we know he does not. If God is a perfect being and his "holy word" is infallible then why does it contrast with known scientifically proven facts? People misunderstand what a theory is. It is a scientifically validated group of facts presenting an argument that has been proven to be sound whereas a scientific law is a single fact used to an action or set of actions proven by a single mathematical equation.

  • You say you know there is no God LOL Even the top respected atheist don't make such a absolute statement as that LOL your a fools fool. The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions.

add me to your friends list I have a list of basic questions for you and if you can answer them in truth I will accept the big bang as fact!

  • I hope they aren't the same questions i keep getting from creationists.

  • Great response 5/5.

  • Bible Jim? How do you know there's absolutely a God?

  • Q: How do you know there's absolutely a God?

Part 1.... I am not Jim I am the owner of the channel and I would like to answer that. For me to say that there is tea in China I would only need knowledge of whats in my cup. For you to say there's absolutely no God. You must have perfect knowledge of every thing in China. Whats in every house every restaurant every store every cup and whats growing in every back yard.. So in a nut shell you must have perfect knowledge and any thinking person

  • Part 2..would never clam to have perfect knowledge. So what can be said is this you don't believe in God but you can't say for sure. I believe in God based on personal experience and my experience is not your experience you would have to see for your self by personal experience. You have been to places I have not been and I have been to places you have not been to. But for me to say Mexico is absolutely not a real place because I never been there and I don't care what people who have

  • Part 3.... been there say because I never seen it for my self would make me a fools fool ps 34: 8 Taste and see that the LORD is good blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

  • First, I never said there was no God! I have no idea thus my original question! Second, I was a christian for 31 years! I worshipped with all my heart dispite suffering from an extremely painful neurological disease in my feet!! God was an EPIC FAIL for me!! God maybe a good experience for you I won't comment on that anymore. third, Over time I moved from theist to Agnostic.

  • Third I agree with this video 100%! Since deconverting I realized I wasn't worshipping a true God but rather I got caught up in the dogma which I totally believe that the vast majority are doing!!

  • Can someone at this time in history prove that there's no God? I highly doubt it, just as I HIGHLY doubt anyone can or ever will be able to prove there is a God! Finally, you method of trying to prove a God fails!! The best you can offer is to have "FAITH" that there's a God!! Evidence for a God is PAPER THIN at best!!

  • So since we don't have "perfect knowledge" on Unicorns does that make it them real?

You can't say god is real because we can't prove he do sent exist. If this is the case then unicorns, big foot, fairies, Zeus, etc... would exist because you can't prove they don't. You fail in logic. The default position is there is no God until proven. just like you are innocent until "PROVEN" guilty.

  • Strawman argument.

  • My thoughts exactly. That's a nice fictional thunderf00t he's hypothesizing about.

  • "There's no evidence that there is no god."

    That is one fine quote.

  • Congrats on winning the debate you had with yourself.

    Vegas loves you, baby.

  • Usual joker.

    "All science points to god".

OH does it indeed? I'm afraid I see it as completely the opposite.

Religion tried to explain things in the absence of knowledge. We have since got pretty damn good at science now, and all the things that god supposedly did, we know have scientific explanations for, pushing god into smaller and smaller gaps.

I'm afraid our present knowledge of this VAST cosmos leaves the pathetic idea of such a little parochial god, where it belongs, in the past.

  • The evolution theory can't disprove God but that's what it's main goal is. And if you want proof I can send you some

  • A theory of science based on faith with disproving God as it's main goal so it has become a religion

  • if it was a fact then we would not be debating this and I would not be a christian, evolution is a faith not a fact

  • I keep asking this question, but can't get an answer, so I'll try again here:

To all you fundamentalists out there, please tell me, what are "witches," and why do you want to kill them? You want to kill them, right? It says you're supposed to kill them in your bible, right? Don't be ashamed of your faith, stand up for it! Fight for it! Defend it! Tell us what withes are and why they must die!

  • And who was the origin of species written by?

Where do you get your info from?

  • well thats an interesting way to debate..just debate yourself and play your opponents part for them. Cool...that way everybody who ever takes on a debate is sure to always win! lol. "He woulda said this and I woulda said that"...lol... you gotta love the guy for sheer fruitless, transparent audacity.

  • This is not him debating thunderfoot, It's training to teach Christians about a big hole in your debating skills and now that I have this info you guys fall into your own trap every time

  • I know its not him debating thunderfoot, but he seems to think he is. He's claiming victory over a fictional debate that he just invented on camera. Very amusing. The ability to look good in a debate is of little interest to me. ONLY the facts and truth is what matters. Being a clever debater, good at twisting words and doing mental gymnastics has no bearing on the truth of anything.

  • Thunderfoot knows nothing of God he cant even know what his light bill will be next month he can have faith in what he thinks thats about all one things true for sure he will die one day and find out the truth about God we all will

  • That was one of the most horrible arguments I've ever heard. He basically spoke for Thunderf00t, and drove the conversation in the direction he wanted it to go.

Thunderf00t knows that there is no god, because there is absolutely no proof of a god, beyond the bible.

Jim is speaking hypothetically because he has nothing with which he can back himself up. He's full of shit, and he knows it.

  • Thunderfoot knows that there is no God LOL

To make an absolute statement like that would make him a fool and for you to make that statement for him makes you an even bigger fool

  • Did I MAKE such an absolute claim? You're putting words in my mouth, child. Thunderf00t knows that there is no god in the same way that you know that there is no giant purple anteater living in your closet.

You can't POSSIBLY be defending Jim's arguments, can you?

  • Yes you just did it again. You said Thunderf00t knows that there is no god. You can say Thunderf00t don't believe there is a God but for you to say he knows is a absolute claim, And even Dawkins said he can not make such a clam. So as armoral said you will one day find out. And if I am wrong I missed out on a party if you are wrong you burn in hell forever see you on judgment day!

  • Then I hereby claim that there is a giant purple anteater living in your closet. To say that you KNOW that there isn't makes you an obvious hypocrite.

As for judgment day, I await it with glee. I'll see you there, jackass.

  • as far as the giant purple anteater living in my closet I am an agnostic! I don't believe in him but I can't say for sure because when I am sleeping any thing can happen! Just because I never seen him don't mean it can't be true. See you on judgment day fool

  • In that case then one could make th argument that there is no such thing as "knowledge". You believe that there is a god, but you don't "know" it. I believe that there is no god.. but I don't know that there is, eh?

Piss poor logic, yet another example of an idiot grasping at straws.

  • I believe there is a God I just can't prove it to you 100% So now we get to this point, If I am wrong I missed out on a party, If you are wrong you burn in hell. Is the party that great to risk forever in hell over it?

  • You can't prove it to me AT ALL. You have a book, and that's it. In 1000 years people could be preaching the word of Harry Potter, what makes your book any more "true"?

You're wrong because you have absolutely no proof support yourself. I live in the real world, and until God comes down from heaven in a purple velvet suit, and delivers me a pizza... I'll remain an atheist.

  • And it's no skin off my back. My Job is to warn you if you want to burn in hell that's up to you

    remain an atheist

  • I will! Any truly intelligent, and enlightened person living in this day and age certainly would. Have a nice life.

  • gypsydisciple, Do you just stop reading when you think you have found something that you object to? Your respnse overlooked the entire second half of that reply to you and therefore makes no sense as a response.

by the way, What if there is a god that prefers atheists over christians? then you might burn in hell forever. How do you like them apples?

  • What if there is a god that prefers atheists over christians?

RE: Then his resting place would be hell and heaven would be for the out cast. I will pick heaven because I don't like fire

  • What if heaven is really a fiery hell and hell is really heaven? Then you picked the wrong side and you risk burning in hell forever.

You should also worship the devil just to be safe. And while you're at it, you might as well worship Zues and Odin and Ra and Vishnu as well. Just worship every god that you've heard of and then try to come up with some new ones and worship them as well. You're more likely to win the "pick the right god and get into heaven lottery" if you have more tickets.

  • Did any one other then God offer you eternal life? as a free gift?

  • Yes. The flying spaghetti monster did. Will you accept his greatness or will you risk eternal hell fires?

  • I am an agnostic! when it comes to the flying spaghetti monster If he can do greater thing in my life then what God has done and keeps doing I will convert! If not I will take my chances of burning in spaghetti hell!

  • Considering that god has done nothing, I think the flying spaghetti monster should at least be able to equal that. Does that count?

  • Anyone who believes this man's arguments to follow logic need to go back to high school english...

  • And you completely missed the concept of what I was trying to say before.

Some ideas are not worth entertaining. Ideas that are so rediculous, by debating it, you acknowledge some level of validity.

Let's say I contend that a 3 sided circle exists. To entertain a debate means that a 3 sided circle is valid in someone's perspective, when clearly it is not.

  • you completely missed the concept of what I was trying to say. I am sure if today was 9/10/01 and I warned you about 9/11 you would say I was crazy and you would find out the hard way that it was true.

  • And you would call me crazy if I came up to you and told you that you would be struck by lightning if you stepped outside your door.

That just proves my point that you can not take someone's opinion simply because they claim it to be true.

Even if it is true, you can't differentiate from what isn't true without sufficent credibility or evidence.

But my original statment was about entertaining false ideals, that you missed completely.

Are you greater than Bible Jim?

  • Gypsydisciple, are you comparing God to the terrorists? Now that is just a perfect analogy, very well done.
