@292929292929100 Just take a look at Ron Paul's social stances and you'd see that he is even more determined than any of the others to get rid of medicare, social security and welfare, all the while lowering corporate taxes and regulations and imposing austerity. On the other side, that being foreign policy, sure, he might be for pulling out American troops and lowering the military budget, but even if he were elected, the chances of that happening are almost null.

I like Ron Paul too but they're not going to nominate him.. remember it's not the people who vote but the electoral college - I'll be honest I still can't get over how fucked up the US voting system is, it's so much simpler organised to vote in Europe.. This whole 'winner takes it all' voting is so screwed up..
