Yu Na gets more power with each stroke of her blade. She is centered on her blades and gets maximum speed/power with each push which gives her the look that she is floating as she skates. She is a joy to watch.

Hamilton, Bezic, and the Eurosport commentators agreed that YuNa skated her SP just a little better than Mao's wonderful performance, and they've been watching figure skating (or competing) for longer than you have.

yeah okay so before i watched this, i saw her on kiss and cry and didn't think she looked like THAT great a skater (i think she put on a liiiittle weight, but that just shows she's been resting well).

Of all the beautiful athleticism and artistry Yu-Na has and showcases with every performance she gives, her spirals are definitely sub-par. Her leg is sort of bent and her toes are turned backward, instead of out to the side like they should be. And her leg isn't quite high enough. Sasha Cohen definitely keeps her title for the best spiral in the world. But Yu-Na is one of the best skaters the sport has ever seen so I'm not challenging her win, she's truly amazing and deserves that OGM!
