He said the canidates who will not be in the national debates need to come together and have a debate of their own. Get the media to cover it, at the very least CSPAN and PBS. Barr is a CIA control measure. He's there to focus your attention so that you don't get too upset. They feel if you've got someone to root for (even if they do not win) You'll be more docile about the whole thing. It's simple psychology. Being in the Nader campaign we have just met the target of the herculean effort of getting onto 45 states which is more than in the 2000 election.That for an independent with no media coverage is an acomplishment in itself.

If he thinks we should try to elect a 3rd party in, then he probably has something planned. After reading the some of the comments I wonder if anyone listened to what Ron Paul said. He said the canidates who will not be in the national debates need to come together and have a debate of their own. Get the media to cover it, at the very least CSPAN and PBS. Some of the people in that debate, who have gotten on a majority of the states ballots will be in the debate. I think that's exciting and I'm for it!!!

It isn't "who" will the third party's votes hurt the most, The question is who will the
3rd party system empower?
Answer: the People who don't vote. They feel their vote will make no difference.
Right now, 70% of the country don't Vote.
Of the 30% that do, 6% vote Nader,2% Barr, 1% McKinney and "4% other".
If that 70% decided to vote and ended up splitting the vote equally.
This would place either the Dems or Republicans in 4th or 5th place respectively.
Wake up and vote 3rd Party.

Because the deadlines fpr getting on the ballot in each individual state has passed. Whilst he'll have support in the pollsit won't translate into votes on the ballot because ballot obstacles to third party & independent candidates. You hear the news sometines say Nader was polling well in 04 yet hardly got any votes. The truth is that Democrats sabotaged his petitions to remove him from the ballot therefore disenfranchised his voters.
He can still run as a write in candidate.

No. It's just a matter of practicality. The deadlines for getting onto each state are very early. Being in the Nader campaign we have just met the target of the herculean effort of getting onto 45 states which is more than in the 2000 election.That for an independent with no media coverage is an acomplishment in itself.
All third party candidates uniting & Ron Paul supporting them, & Kucinch at least supporting open debates, is setting the ground work for a 3rd party victory in the future.
