You idiot it's not a cello. And the sound guy screwed up and didn't feed the sound back into the guy's monitor so he couldn't match pitch.
For the record, it's an upright BASS.

Yeah in jazz. Not in acoustic music like this, it's not stylistically correct. Again, the sound guy screwed up. If you listen to the other tracks from that show, they sound fine.
