Just as a clarification, Agent Orange was used as a herbicide to destroy the Vietnamese jungle. By doing this the US was "leveling the playing field" They destroyed the jungle so the Vietnam soldiers could not hide in it. Just as a clarification, Agent Orange was used as a herbicide to destroy the Vietnamese jungle. By doing this the US was "leveling the playing field" They destroyed the jungle so the Vietnam soldiers could not hide in it. The US did not realized that the chemical would effect the people so greatly. We were ignorant and the outcome of this ignorance is very, very sad.

My dad died from Agent orange. I saw the effects of what it did to him and is doing to me. I worked for Scott's as a chemical tech and I can tell you that the chemicals for Agent orange specifically are not the same as Round-up. Agent orange, the kind used in Viet Nam is illegal! And if your so sure that Round-up is safe, why don't you go ahead and take a bath in it?

In courts of law these claims have failed to win because the science of a direct connection is lacking and unavailable. Agent Orange is widely used around the world as Round UP. Agent Orange was most harmful as it contains TCDD a poison stronger than any natural poison. Exposure to TCDD or Agent Orange results in birth defects if the woman gives birth. Suffer from mental and physical disorders of various types. The point is Agent Orange went into the food chain and it affects humans. As we are the top predator.

Anyway, even being so morons that the army didn't know it, that doesn't make them innocent for this crime. Quimic war was forbiden after the First World War for the Ginebra Convention. Even nazis didn't brake that law. Only the US have done it, here in Vietnam. The same happens with nuclear war, the only country in the world which has used them vs civil populations is the evil US.

You have not done much actual research on the subject have you. The herbicide called Agent Orange is still widely used in the US and around the world as Round up. It has little effect on human beings when properly produced and handled. There was contamination in some of the Agent Orange mass produced when Dioxin was accidentally created. Every year Vietnam adds millions of tons of Dioxin to whatever contaminant was added by the use of low quality coal for heating and cooking..
