There acculy pretty fast. I know mine will probs shutoff 99-100. they come with the 3.6 and 3.8l v6's and there sporty.

Thing i hate is that it goes at such high rpm's when you try to speed up in the slightest way.

Montanas liek the one shown only ever came with the 3400. The newer style I think came with the 3500 but I know for a fact none of these vans came with the 3800 (3.8l).

The montana does have incredible get up and go for being a mini van. I own two montana's a 99 and 2000. I also have other vehicles but just talking about the montana's.

you guys need to do what i did for my wife, we took an engine out of a 99 boneville ssei (supercharged) it bolts right up, just change the computer, then thier aint a car out there touching you, I mean mustangs, camaros, newer cars, its just dumb. vans are lighter than most vehicle, its all shell

other tire didnt spin cause it dont make enough power.. plus these trannies have issues with spinning posi. but when there new its on! 3.4 sux. they need 3.8

no its because the car doesnt have a lock up differential and its not meant to do that.

Plus on top of that it looks like you have oil under the tires, its not burning out, its slipping OUT.

You are just killing gas.

Despite what idiots say, those van trannies last forever. My dad has one of those vans and its going on 350k km now.

Trannys may be good, but too bad the rocker panels are made from bio-degradeable metal, and engines that blow head/intake gaskets for lunch (and your wallet for dinner) I'd so crush my 99 montana if I could afford it, they are JUNK!!

Yea the montana is a probelm car. It seems like every month somthing goes wrong with our 2003. its had its tranny replaced, 2 head gaskets, and oxygen sensor and rebuilt some parts of the engine one time. There junk. On the good side it has dvd player, onstar and its very sporty looking.

Yeah they are good looking vans, too bad that everyone and their brother has one, once I replaced the gaskets and rocker panels its not too bad of a van it starts even in the coldest weather, and now it has almost 300,000miles.

my 2004 has problems too almost 300 000 and i replaced the tranny and 3 wheel bearings in the front 2 rear shocks front bumper but inall sense the mini van is taking my beating like a champ the only thing i disagree with is that it is slow i dont find it goes to fast but it is a mini van

have you replaced the lower intake manifold gaskets yet? i'm sure that dex-cool has taken it's tole after 300,000 miles. there is a problem solver gasket replacement.

no i haven't changed the lower intake yet but i have been warned about it... i was going to change the fluid in my rad but i ran into badluck with jobs

actually the intake gasket issue was fixed for 2004 and 2005 models
