  • I was in the Army in 86-91 served in Germany and Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kuwait. I know what it means to be away from family and loved ones on the holidays. It sucks, but events like this when time and preparation has gone into preparing beautiful meals is highly appreciated and takes the edge off of being away from home. Thanks for being there for the soldiers who don't know half of what they are fighting for but pushing on anyway. Peace

  • Poor guys, Thanks giving for a chance to die averyday.

  • Most of us see it as a chance to help people and make a difference. And we're quite thankful for the progress that's been made, and for people who support us.

  • Greetings Nick,

This fella-Fernando069-has an arm-chair perspective of the military and what the holidays mean to the men and women serving away from home in foreign, remote lands and places. Many Kudos to you and staff Nick for a job well done!
