  • Holy Shit!!!! OMG!!! I was 13 in 1973 and absolutely went crazy over this disc (Grand Hotel). This track is so "Bad Ass". B J Wilson (Drums) is sooo beyond words.

  • Great song. Great band. The Brittish bands in the 70's were the best. T-Rex..Mott the Hoople..Roxy Music..Super Tramp..Pink Floyd..Gentle Giant..Mike Oldfield..on and on..The best. The most creative..

  • Thanks! I've spent decades trying to find this song and now i have it! Thanks again!

  • I have been trying to find this track for 36 years. I heard it on CFNY-FM in its first couple of years in existence back when Rainer Schwartz did the late-night show, but missed the announcement. I could tell from the way "Conquistador" sounded that it was probably Procol Harum that had done the song, but was never able to locate it until this very evening. I am utterly delighted!

  • @trombonemunroe i made someone happy. good feeling indeed!

  • Has always been a favorite song and band

  • or maybe I'll take an excursion to Spain

Buy a revolver and blow out my brain...

never tire of this song by one of the greatest groups ever

  • @jeffie131 If you listen to this track'...Then compare to A Rum Tale'...You'll notice how similar they are...Check it out'...That will blow out you're brain...lol...I had this in my collection since I was 15' in 1973'...Found it in the cheap racks in the record shop' 20pence...unplayed Mint..!!

  • when this album came out i hated it with a passion because i missed fisher and trower.luckily i have had timeto change my mind.great song

  • I was just moving from Memphis to Dallas when this came out. Toujours l'amour got good airplay in Memphis and was a bit of a follow-up to their previous year's hit, the live, orchestrated Conquistador. Unfortunately, Toujours (like Bowies Starman, The Bouys' Timothy, and others) did not get as much play outside of Memphis. A travesty as it is one of Procol's all-time best.
