Raised and lived within 40 miles of Lubbock all of my life and can't remember this guy. Wouldn't have even known what station without reading the comments. When was this?

I so loved Don Morelli!! I remember this day too! It was hard for all of us on the floor to keep our composure. And, he had another episode a few years later when he dumped a huge bucket of water all over the set!

I keep waiting for this to happen to me. With KAMC's new weather graphics package we have a wired clicker that loves bunching up around the feet.

Haha - poor Don. I actually remember watching this on TV when I was about 11 years old. An unforgettable moment to say the least!
Don was a good guy though - he put one of my pictures up as a "weather window" on TV back in the day. He was one of the inspirations for me to become a meteorologist - a career I enjoy very much today.
