Great information. Thanks for sharing. I wish you the best of luck on the plastic surgery journey. It seems like once we've decided to have WLS, there's a surgery part two involved to tackle the excess skin. I'll probably need a breast lift and tummy tuck. You have a great attitude about the scars. Love the battle scar/tattoo mentality!!! Thanks for that!! I'll be willing to deal w/ my scars too just to get rid of the excess skin I may have. Good luck:-)
I am sooo excited for you. Just a few more months!!! That money is SOOO totally worth it.
The arm surgery and breast lift surgery are going to be my celebrations too...I plan to do them at the same time so the pain and healing is all in the same area. I have heard of that puckering..I have seen a few women who have done it..it isn't as bad as it sounds.
I'm so right there with you babe...it's so funny, we are always at the same place in our journeys. My brachioplasty scars will be the zippers that allowed me to unzip my fat suit :)
I'll have my breast lift and tummy tuck first and then the arms....
As for the scars post op you can have laser treatments and cortisone injections to help reduce the size of the scars.
Good luck, I too have been thinking about this for years.
