Take more classes. It's great that you're excited about blues, but if you want to improve you need instruction. While comments and critique online are good, nothing is comparable to personal instruction from an experienced dancer
Yes, there is a video with the same song using west coast swing
There are definitely songs that out there can be danced to both blues and west coast swing, depending on the mood you want to portray. It allows for a lot of creativity :D.
Definitely loosen up a little bit. You had a good variety of moves, but some of them looked a little awkward and stiff. Once you've danced a bit more, you will be able to notice yourself and think "oh, this needs to be loosened up", or "I need better tension and connection here to make it better". Blues is about knowing your own body, and making adjustments according to what your body is 'thinking'. So far though, you look fantastic! especially after only 4 months.
Some "Practice tips" to help fix some things mentioned.
Shoulder Dipping - Relax more. Most people think "Be a statue to keep shoulders from unwanted dipping" and this is misleading. This makes us tense our muscles, and sometimes, dip even more.
Instead, think "calm the move down" and relax. When the music makes you excited, and you want to move more and more and become jerky, first, breath deep and exhale as you go into your next step, and "release" the tension.
try to not cave in your shoulders as much, it can make follows feel like they are trapped and looks a little awkward. pulse a little more rather than being so 'steppy'. overall good job though!\

Wow, props for being willing to post a video of yourself and ask for feedback! I don't know of too many dancers willing to ask for that much critique early on. Some things I saw were:
- At the beginning you tended to raise your shoulder on the foot that you had your weight on
-Good musicality, you were paying attention to what the music was doing
-Again, focusing on the shoulders, you tended to shrug them as you lead turns
-When leading walking, step straight back or forward, not side to side
con't, also, a way to help your follow know your walking, try collecting before stepping. And by collecting, think of it as a building up of energy as you pause just before you step
-As for the right hand-to-back connection, think of it as connecting with the forearm and your hand is there just because it's attached. Way more comfortable for you and the follow
-Awesome connection points. You seem really comfortable leading with both hands and using alternative connections
I hope that was helpful without being over whelming! I spend a ridiculous time analyzing dance videos, either learning new material or critiquing myself, so I get kind of excited about this stuff. I can't wait to see more if you post, and possibly dance with you if you've taken up traveling too!
Good that you have nice loose hips. Strengthen your frame and try to relax into the beat. Your appear to be building a good foundation. Keep dancing and enjoy :)
There's a little bit of "middle school dance" swaying going on when you're in closed (shoulders and hips) when the lead could be stronger through the core of your lead's body, but you're obviously comfortable with it and having fun which is the most important part.
just take more classes. And dance to blues music. That will help your blues dancing immensely.

Is it me or is this more of a West coast than blues?
The song is west coast and the moves too...
Blut keep it up and relax, let yourself go to the song...
don't count your steps (It will come naturally) There's no wrong steps in blues...

I have a bit of swing to speak of. It looks like you have your hand pretty far around her back. Other than that, you look fantastic.
