  • i think he smokes alot of weed lol

  • Vote Ron Paul if you believe in the First Amendment.

  • Enforced consumerism. What next forcing everyone to buy health insurance?

  • He alone who, without ceasing, practises the duty of sitting alone and sleeping alone, he, subduing himself, will rejoice in the destruction of all desires alone, as if living in a forest.-Zen Buddhist teaching

  • LOVE!!!

  • ..I want to move back to Ca and buy me one little house: what do you suggest I do? thank you, Corona from Italy

  • damn the government trying to stop us from living in small homes!!! i should be free to live in a tent if i want to.

  • @bronaldtrump .. CODES are NOT enacted public laws .. they are created for those contracted by or licensed by the SATE corporation and it's Employees. Never allow words of art to dictate to YOU the OWNER, the STATE is only the Trustee (servant).

  • I mean property taxes, and it doesn't make any sense that the IRS or anyone can take your property that you paid for when you don't pay taxes.

  • I'm still building my tiny house no matter what anyone says, how in the hell can something be too small?

They don't have to live in it, face it they just want to get paid more money.

Just like it's insane to pay for your land that YOU bought like 10 years or 50 years ago.

The government and others are greedy.

  • I love this.

    SOOOO true, right on.

Exactly how I feel and what I'm going on.

Municipalities overstepping their bounds via the suggestion of contractors and oil companies, imagine that.

There are many Constitutional issues involved with building codes and they will end up in court.

Just like Gay Marriage. It will be nationwide because it isn't constitutional to limit people like that.

    Same for housing.

  • I love the social commentary. I can't wait to take on consumerism when I build my tiny house this summer. I thought just out of college what do I have to lose only financial freedom to gain.

  • Its insane to me that trailer parks are zoning compliant but once you remove the mobility of the house, no no no, can't do that, too small of a house

  • I think I can subscribe to the idea of being unattached to all my "stuff" to live a more simple life.

  • I really like the idea; however, I'm unfortunately too attached to all my "stuff". Dave's computer room would take up the whole house!

  • Great interview. Love the discussion of enforced consumerism.
