He doesn't tell the whole story. The citizens of P.C. got tired of ghetto crime. When a popular, pretty, young white woman was murdered in the black part of town they'd had enough. Since the blacks left town, there has been ZERO ghetto crime in Pierce City. No OJ types. No lazy welfare cheaters. No rappers spreading gangsta-hatred. No slick black "civil rights" lawyers stirring up lawsuits. It's been a very peaceful little place since then, with an extremely low crime rate.

Just like the Native Americans can't ever get their land back, the African americans won't get any claim on it either. The whites write the laws, ignore them when they want and then get away with it. I'm part Indian, and white, but my Indian ancestors hid from the US govmt when they forced us on a starvation walk to OK (Quapaw tribal walk) But my revenge is having my triracial daughter and waving her in front of all the racists. how did the jews go back to germany and claim their property/reparations when they couldn't have paid taxes on those parcels when they were supposedly deported/forced out of germany..whites are confused as the jews have assimilated with them due to skin color. so all that; it would have went up for a tax sale and how would you prove it today; the same way the jews did. he's giving you the law when they got our personal valuables illegally. but now the law protects them...fukc them
i completely agree. this movie definitely points out just one of the present-day legacies of racism/slavery/jimcrow and how sad it is that blacks have not experienced even a modicum of reparations... land is real wealth, wealth that was stolen.

I was shocked when I learned of this back in 1996. I was also shocked to learn the KKK held meetings in the old mines many years ago.
