Usually what I do to keep me in time with that solo is that in the last chorus before it I lower my volume to 0 and play the first riff of the solo a couple of times to make sure I got the timing cause it DOES kinda change at the solo. Hope my advice was useful but anyway GOOD JOB! =D

u have a good point here. I used to rely on the rehearsal sessions rather than lowering the volume to 0, etc. But I really believe what u did was good because it's all bout the matter of telling the subconcious mind to get a strong control of the notes especially during Live Stage where there is crowd pressure( as for me). You need to fix your sound set up cause vocals and lead guitar so much louder than everything else. Its still really good and you did a good job on the solo. Just try not to get overly excited like you did... It kinda caused you to miss the first like 4 notes of the solo.

haha, thanks.. But it was all my fault. I accidentally speed up the Tempo in the beginning(due to anxiety) which caused the whole band to play a lot faster than original tempo. Because of this messed up tempo, I messed a bit of the guitar solo near the end. If I played in the origina tempo, it would at least sound satisfactory to me. After all, it was just an experience...I dont really care so much what happened.
