I believe this video portrays a demonstration by Australian Aborigines, an issue in disproportionately high death rates whiles in custody (Jail, Prison) when compared to other demographics. It is an issue though not a simple or one-sided one.
My experience is that Australia enjoys a fairly professional Police force (State and Federal) - accepting that no system is 100% perfect. Have they not simply formed a visible line, a presence to protect property & public ONLY if necessary?

If you treat one group differently, you have to expect to behave differently, and this creates the division. It's hard to say whose right and wrong after that.

I believe this video portrays a demonstration by Australian Aborigines, an issue in disproportionately high death rates whiles in custody (Jail, Prison) when compared to other demographics. It is an issue though not a simple or one-sided one.
My experience is that Australia enjoys a fairly professional Police force (State and Federal) - accepting that no system is 100% perfect. Have they not simply formed a visible line, a presence to protect property & public ONLY if necessary?

While Australia is probably the most non-racist country on earth, it has to be careful... already the police and the media are beginning branding people according to their race. eg: "he is a Asian appearance" or "he is of African appearance" or "he is of Caucasian appearance" or "the gang are of Sudanese appearance". Such racist remarks must be stopped and those speaking them must be punished by Australia's racial anti-vilification laws.

If you are talking about their dark skin colour, they might be from the East Indies or the UK. Assume nothing! The racist terms the police and the media use says nothing about their appearance.
