@espresso747 I see you do not know the word the teaching on hair dates back to the old testament as well and up to about the 1960's woman in our culture did not cut there hair and they always had a hat on in church. the church did not need to teach on it because it was the norm. once it was no longer the norm the church started teaching it and all the people that cut there hair started calling the people that did not cut there hair cult leaders

1. Cor in the bible talks about hair. It's not really that we "CAN'T", it's form of submission to God and people who honor that will be blessed for it.
We wear skirts because we think men and women should be separate in dress. The bible states that women should not wear mens clothing and men started wearing pants before women did. Yes, pants are made for women now and I do not consider that mens clothing so I wear dresses to honor God. That is the short version. Hope it helped

I never mentioned that this girls hair was ugly or unhealthy.I used to be Apostolic and our church was part of the P.A.W one of the largest oneness organizations Bishop TD Jakes came from our organization.In our affliation we allow our girls to wear make up if they desire to.In heaven you will see it isn't just the oneness pentecostals going to be there you are going to be suprised at who makes it and who doesnt.

This isn't true..our church is apostolic and we dont cut our hair and wear makeup I think the Goss women have beautiful hair and God is rejoicing because they are following the truth in his word.

Ok, A) I love these hair videos, they have restored lost inspiration to do anything but a bun or braid, and B) I have seen all the bickering about religion and hair and I want to say that, as a pentecostal, it isn't so much about following God's rules, but about us wanting to show to the world that we love the body that God has given us, so why do we need makeup or jewlery? Not cutting hair or wearing pants, is more about having a symbol to show everyone our relationship and submission to God.

For if a wife will not cover her head, then she should cut her hair short. But since it is disgraceful for a wife to cut off her hair or shave her head, let her cover her head.

Yes, uncut hair brings power when women pray and I have heard stories like that one before too. People who have cut their hair can still connect with God and he can still use them for his glory.

I understand that you make a commitment to God, and don't cut your hair, though if a woman were to get cnacer for instance, would the chemotheapy (loss of hair) be against religion??

@cjvec I go to a apostolic penicostal church and one of the women got cancer and had to do chemotherapy and its not breaking the commendement to god.god is he one that knew it would happen so thou shall be forgiven.

we do obey Jesus when he said babtize in the name "singular" it was fulfilled in the book of acts and matthew was present on the day of pentecost and would have rebuked them but the bible says they gladly were babtized and the same day was added about 3000 souls they were commanded to be babtized in Jesus name later on if you would just read the book of acts its all in there they were all babtized in Jesus name people just dont beleive it because of man made traditions that have been taught

perspective,I personally feel that a woman shouldn't cut her hair even if it's

I'm UPC too...my hair is getting long now and i found the hairstyles i was doing with shorter hair weren't working any more. you have given me something else to look forward to for not cutting my hair!

I never mentioned that this girls hair was ugly or unhealthy.I used to be Apostolic and our church was part of the P.A.W one of the largest oneness organizations Bishop TD Jakes came from our organization.In our affliation we allow our girls to wear make up if they desire to.In heaven you will see it isn't just the oneness pentecostals going to be there you are going to be suprised at who makes it and who doesnt.

I really liked this, I think it is a very pretty style.

But this is really quite pretty.

Ok, A) I love these hair videos, they have restored lost inspiration to do anything but a bun or braid, and B) I have seen all the bickering about religion and hair and I want to say that, as a pentecostal, it isn't so much about following God's rules, but about us wanting to show to the world that we love the body that God has given us, so why do we need makeup or jewlery? Not cutting hair or wearing pants, is more about having a symbol to show everyone our relationship and submission to God.

If you don't mind spending the cash, there are a lot of other products out there that work well--Aveda's smooth infusion conditioner is great, and I like "It's a Ten" too.

this is so PRETTY...and its the first updo video i've been able to follow and DO!!!! even though my hair is only a little past elbow length...all other videos i look at involve curling or a lot of teasing...this is simple and i dont have to fry my hait to do it

@AirBRanger oil your hair and scalp thouroughly and leavy it for a few hours...the more hours the better...and then wash it like you normall would...thats how brown ppl keep their hair so good...and keep it braided unless you need to do something with it...braiding protects it frm damage

Your hair is your glory and given to us for a covering! It is a shame for women to pray with her head uncovered. If you cut it, it is as if you have shaved it all off! That is in 1 Corinthians Chapter 11. So for those who say she can cut it .... read what is in this chapter. She has the power of angels on her head cause she cuts not.. thats beautiful.

your beautiful and i say this with love but cutting your hair, wearing skirts everyday and wearing jewlery and makeup is not bad when done appropriatly. God knows your heart and this is being religious rather then having a relationship with God. The Lord doesnt care what we look like as long as we praise Him, (but of course still be decent.) Oh Lord Jesus!!!

God can still use whoever he decides cut hair or not. I am not disputing the scripture or saying that it's right to cut our hair. I'm just saying that other people don't have that understanding and I don't want them to feel horrible bc of the way PEOPLE present the scripture.

@kute1livn4jc i would rather have her with long hair pray for me, than a woman with cut hair. i heard that a girl would get laugh at by her family cause she had long hair and spoke in tonges but when her Dad was near death, guess who the first person was that thay called? yup, her. She put her hair over her dads body (literaly covering his whole body with her hair) and prayed in tonges and God heald the dad. true story.

Yes, uncut hair brings power when women pray and I have heard stories like that one before too. People who have cut their hair can still connect with God and he can still use them for his glory.

I think people need to leave others alone about those scriptures and worry about themselves. A lot of people have the outward dress down pat, but have an ugly heart.

I understand that you make a commitment to God, and don't cut your hair, though if a woman were to get cnacer for instance, would the chemotheapy (loss of hair) be against religion??
What I mean, is, is it the cuttng or the hair that is important to the commitment?

we do obey Jesus when he said babtize in the name "singular" it was fulfilled in the book of acts and matthew was present on the day of pentecost and would have rebuked them but the bible says they gladly were babtized and the same day was added about 3000 souls they were commanded to be babtized in Jesus name later on if you would just read the book of acts its all in there they were all babtized in Jesus name people just dont beleive it because of man made traditions that have been taught
