what a classic story, what happened to all the games that were like this. you know just a thought so few were produced to have a good story line. question why isnt the video game industry geared more to that idea?

Can this run on Windows XP? I have a Pentium III processor with 512 Megabytes of RAM. It runs Tachyon the Fringe perfectly (with the help of an old but still working graphics card).

I don't care what they say this is one of the best space games, if not games in general ever made. It was GTA in space for fuck's sake! And the distances between planets were gineormeous, you really felt like you were in space.

@alendostan No but you can customize them with weapons, because most ships have weapon slots. You're a space bandit; you find cargo ships, fight em, steal the cargo, go back to base, sell it, buy bigass guns, be a motherfucker, it's all good!

I have only briefly played this game... alright I accidently slammed it in a drawer. Have you any idea where I could get this game? All I remember (those many years ago) was basically autopiloting my way around, and even then I couldn't get any where. I was young, now I'm wise. I'd like to play if I ever got the chance. So, do you know where I might purchase it? And how much would it cost, or at least a guesstimate.
