Doubt blizzard will ever make a WoW movie, There is too indepth Lore of the World of warcraft world, Example: They make use refrences to characters that are little known by the public, yet they may have been briefly mentioned?

I'm not much into the WoW lore, but the cinematic trailer I was most impressed with is still the vanilla WoW one. It showed game play of all the classes with different elements of fighting, along with the monsters you will be facing, thus giving more of a reason to buy the game. @Revan8888 Many have tried, all have failed at dethroning WoW... Even HUGE licensed games like Lords of The Rings Online and Star Wars Galaxies. KOTOR is possibly the only one that can really challenge WoW, but reach 12 million players? Not likely to happen.
@blodstainer Not so sure mate :) Yeah it`s true that Neltharion was empowered by the titans themselves and did not give away any bit of his power to the Demon Soul artifact ( that made him more powerful then any other aspect ) but remember that arthas merged with ner`zul increasing his dominion over death itself and his power more then we can understand the same goes with Illidan when he claimed the skull of gul`dan.
@Vrabye Illidan sure was powerful, but both he and arthas was merged with orc magicians to increase their power, illidan might have been able to fight deathwing, but doubt it that LK would.

And he merged with the Skull of Gul'dan, and Gul'dan was Ner'zhul's Warlock apprentice, and he died more powerful than the latter.

4) Both Illidan and LK are Kil Jaedens servants. But Kil jaeden was just afraid of lichking, and NOT Illidan.

After the merge with Arthas, it was Kil Jaeden >= Arthas.
And now, three years later in his dreaming state on the frozen throne, I would say they are about equal right now. Ofc you can say that KJ is a bit stronger, but well... they are in the same league now. Only Deathwing, old gods and titans would be able to defeat KJ or LK. But Illidan? No way =/

But when they met later on, in Icecrown, Illidan had gotten the Skull of Gul'dan and Arthas was weakened at that time, but he won over Illidan... But it was not due to Arthas Power, because if it a question of power Illidan would have won, first they battle and are equal, you lower arthas powers and raise Illidan's and Arthas wins? Makes no sense.

And you forget a thing: Arthas got back all of his strenght and even more, since the lichking said, he gave ALL of his remaining power to him before the final battle. So it is no wonder, because the power of Nerzhul is, even weakened, greater than the one of Gul Dan's stupid skull.
They were pretty equal in their last fight. Then Arthas fused. Now he is superior.

Even in his life Nerzhul was stronger than Guldan. That was BEFORE Kil jaeden made him to his most dangerous servant. - the lichking.

4) Both Illidan and LK are Kil Jaedens servants. But Kil jaeden was just afraid of lichking, and NOT Illidan.
This is why he ordered illidan to attack LK, but we all know what happened, do we? Yes, Illidan got fucked and had to run away from Arthas' and KJ's anger.
After this, Arthas became the new Lichking...
You must be a blindedFanboy, if you really think he is superior to Arthas, although the lore showed, that it's the opposite (this is why Lk is lv 80 and illi 70 ;)

@Paivren YOU are the blind idiot, because first of all, Illidan isn't even a servant of KJ, and THAT'S why were are having this discussion, Arthas SHOULDN'T have won over Illidan, Illidan was way more powerful in anyway, Arthas was Nothing. Blizzard forget their own lore, and they had to let arthas win because he was/LK would be more popular than Illidan. And about the lore in WOW it's stupid. I mean C'thun was pre-Naxxramas... is Kel'thuzad more powerful than an old god?

@Paivren And he wasn't afraid of LK, he just couldn't reach Azeroth, there wasn't any stable portal from which he could enter it, I'm not denying LK is powerful, but NOTHING except HIS ARMOR explains that power. He can't just have been sitting on his throne and become powerful by sleeping. Plus Illidan wasn't a servant of KJ, he was swayed by Sargeras and Archimonde.

@Paivren Now to the Main Thing... that means that LK is pretty much Ner'zhul's spirit (broken by KJ, as said in WBTDP book and game), Arthas Body (broken into Servitude by Ner'zhul, Frostmourne (an artifact which belonged to the LK set which KJ crafted). Now if you merge these two (a paladin/death knight and a demonic empowered Shaman) not too special people why would that make them stronger than KJ, the being who created Frostmourne and the armor (the whole reason for their empowerment.)

Because Lichking's power is described as steadily increasing.
It was KJ>>Nerzhul/Lichking. Stedily increasing strenght.
After the merge with Arthas, it was Kil Jaeden >= Arthas.
And now, three years later in his dreaming state on the frozen throne, I would say they are about equal right now. Ofc you can say that KJ is a bit stronger, but well... they are in the same league now. Only Deathwing, old gods and titans would be able to defeat KJ or LK. But Illidan? No way =/

@Paivren Illidan and Arthas was evenly matched during the fight in Felwood, a short time later, Arthas is weakened and Illidan's power increased (by the skull of Gul'dan and the Eye of Sargeras) the outcome would have been that Illidan would win, but he lost cus Srthas throw a sword at him (blizzard logic,) I get that Ner'zhul and Arthas blended and increased their power. But at the time they fought Arthas was < Illidan but still won. Fans powered the Lich King, nothing more

@Paivren I'd say that Scourge against illidan than Arthas would have won, but he's just a role figure within wow (just like Thrall look at how overpowered he was in cata) LK was empowered by fans not if you look at the stats themselves. "Icecrown was set where it stands now because it's not over a ley-lens Ner'zhul could have put it there, but that would have endangered the Blue dragonflight." fact 1 fact 2 = "Magical power are like sand in an hourglass, always moving, pouring through the world

@Paivren It makes so sense, because in Death Knight Form, Arthas and Illidan was pretty much on the same level. But when they met later on, in Icecrown, Illidan had gotten the Skull of Gul'dan and Arthas was weakened at that time, but he won over Illidan... But it was not due to Arthas Power, because if it a question of power Illidan would have won, first they battle and are equal, you lower arthas powers and raise Illidan's and Arthas wins? Makes no sense.

@blodstainer The first fight wasn't an all out battle. Arthas wanted the respect of Illidan, so that he fights against the legion.
And you forget a thing: Arthas got back all of his strenght and even more, since the lichking said, he gave ALL of his remaining power to him before the final battle. So it is no wonder, because the power of Nerzhul is, even weakened, greater than the one of Gul Dan's stupid skull.
They were pretty equal in their last fight. Then Arthas fused. Now he is superior.
