Dr Horowitz is a snake-oil salesman and conspiracy theorist who has claimed that HIV is a bio-weapon developed by the US military and has made many similarly unfounded claims about vaccines (such as that they're part of a plot by the US to sterilize Muslims). Anyone who looks up to someone like that probably doesn't have their head on completely straight to begin with.

Since my program is ongoing, I do have some time as there are lag times resulting from the need for culture growth, etc. Not all research time is allocated for direct involvement in good stuff, sometimes it is necessary to kill some time awaiting results. That story about vaccines contaminated with SV40, etc is based solely on distortions and falsehoods. For example, his comments about the SV40 contamination was made in an interview where he was talking about the early Sabin vaccine, at a time before changes in the manufacturing process were made specifically to safeguard against such contamination. The whole thing originates from a propaganda piece made by Len Horowitz, well known for being a quack and a conspiracy nut.

@mikenotnumber1 I have no problem discussing other claims you might have about vaccines, but before we do, we need to finish the current discussion. You need to either support your claim (by providing a legitimate source for it) about people being vaccinated at gunpoint, or finally concede that your claim was bogus. If you're not willing or able to do either of those, then I see no point in continuing with any further discussions with you.

Are you finally going to concede that your claims about vaccinating at gunpoint were bogus, or are you actually going to support your claims by providing legitimate (as in not conspiracy sites like infowars) sources.

@mikenotnumber1 You just attacked me for saying you got it off naturalnews, and now you're listing it as one of your sources? And infowars? Really? That place isn't a reliable source for anything. Your claim about Maryland is false; the vaccines weren't given at gunpoint. I've also still not found any stories at all about vaccines supposedly given at gunpoint in NY (even at places like naturalnews and infowars), so I'm forced to conclude its another of your unfounded claims.

"roll up your sleeves, and take all 26 vaccines administered to infants til the age of 1" I find that argument at best odd, at worst completely ignorant because I, and pretty much everyone else raised in America, already had most of those required vaccines when we were growing up. There have been a couple new ones that were added since then, but then you're also including ones that are optional such as the flu shot. And there aren't 26 vaccines, there are only 6, 18 if you count the boosters.

@mikenotnumber1 You've only made a vague reference to something happening in NY, and I've already addressed your Maryland claim.
"Vaccines kill people, are completely proven unsafe" Wrong. Vaccines are safe, certainly safer than the diseases that they guard against. Every time vaccination rates fall, there is no effect in autism rates or any of the other bogus claims anti-vaxers make, in fact the only real effect is that the disease makes a resurgence (such as happened in the UK with MMR).

@mikenotnumber1 You have yet to show one industrialized nation that is forcing people to vaccinate at gunpoint, which is what I originally asked for. You made these vague claims about Maryland and Mexico (and now NY), but I've yet to find anything except misinformation to support your claim about Maryland, and nothing at all to indicate that Mexico did anything aside from adding the HPV vaccine to their vaccine schedule.
