Never cared for THE EXORCIST. The possessed girl is silly and boring. The laughable demon voice provided by Mercedes Cambridge doesn't scare me one little bit. I know the vast majority of people love THE EXORCIST and think it's one of the top 10 scariest films ever made.Thats great. They can have it.

EXORCIST III kicks the first film up the ass and right off the face of the planet. IMHO.This one scene alone proves it. And the book LEGION by William Blatty is excellent too.

What a great movie, George C. Scott and Brad Dourif were amazing. The screen adaptation from the book Legion, was surprisingly well done. But seeing that William Peter Blatty did the adaptation himself, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise. BTW don't watch Excorcist 2... if you are going to do an Excorcist movie marathon, skip the second movie, it's crap. William Peter Blatty had nothing to do with it and it was only made to bring in money.
