  • ather looks even wors..

  • Better do it BEFORE you introduce the child to the mean world!!!!!! WHY DO YOU WAIT TILL HE/SHE GETS A HARD TIME????

  • i will do the same for my kid if I have too.

  • lol @sparklesconnect yeah we need to stop clicking the related videos! Make me feel worse... bahh

  • thats not even plastic surgery a lot of children get that done

  • @barakost ikr that was even normal when I was young

  • When I was in year 1 i had surgery to put my ears back because I kept getting bullied too... When I woke up after the operation I wanted to sleep again... DUH. :'D

But now I have a problem with my teeth... I WILL NOT GET SURGERY AGAIN THOUGH...

  • My sister had this done to her for the exact same reasons and the before and after shot was pretty much exactly the same, but my sister hated having her hair brushed because even if the hair brush lightly touched her ears she would start crying because it hurt her that badly and they didn't properly heal until over a year later. She had this done when she was eight and she's twelve now and doesn't really think it was worth it...

  • seven years old???? she's still growing! what's she gonna look like when those surgeries don't "grow" with her?

popular? really? i think its the parents having insecurities for their children that's contributing to it as well.

  • Ugh, that really angers me. I would never allow my kid to have surgery not while they lived under my roof anyway or if it wasnt life threatening. Everyone has something wrong with them. I know parents want their kids to feel 'normal' and be happy but that girl did not have anything wrong with her.

  • i liked her ears they where pretty

  • I was suppose to have showered, dresses and left my house an hour and a half ago... I've been clicking "related videos" since 9:30 this morning... it's almost noon. Youtube, stop trying to suck my soul!!

  • Oh so it's all about being popular now? fuck the children's futures MAKE THEM POPULAR. That campaign is disgusting.

  • Kids are too spoiled. her hair covered her ear.

Everyone has something wrong with them. Just have to learn how to deal with it

  • orthodonture treatment is not "cosmetic" it's about malocclusion in the mouth.

  • I honestly truly think her ears were unique and beautiful they looked weird after the surgery s:

  • i dont fucking care what you guys say... but i think its right... i have ears like that and if you did too PEOPLE MAKE FUN ALL THE TIME! I have to do cheer this may and i am getting them fixed.

  • Her ears looked better before the plastic surgery...

  • I do not want to sound like a bully no, but her ears before were beautiful and i think she just made a bad dissension, her ears looked fine before

  • lol, this surgery is common for young children, and it is easily fixed. My parents considered setting it up for me when I was little after discussions with doctors, but decided to wait for me to take the initiative. I got the surgery when I was 15, and it was no big deal. Two hours of surgery, a night of pain, and then you can take off the bandage after a week. Don't be fooled by how her ears look right after the bandage comes off. They are swollen and squeezed to her head. They'll adjust.

  • HEr ears are fine.. It looks cute actually!

  • KONY 2012

  • I think she looked much better before they chopped the shit out of her ears. Little differences like that are what make people interesting. The future is going to be fucked.

  • her ears? i thought it was something else she needed to get done lol. Oh well 10 yrs from now she'll be getting a nose reduction

  • oh no, i'm not popular. lets get a free surgery.

  • Guess what? As an early teen, I was fat, ugly, weird, painfully shy and constantly mistaken for a boy.

I would have traded all that for a fucked up ear, believe me.

  • @arayalrio cant agree more with you at this moment

  • The girl's mother says that the worst offenders are adults, but later she states that "kids are mean". Would that not indicate that the problem is not whether the ears of her daughter stand out, but the view of her condition by adults. Those adults would then pass their twisted judgement on to the other children who might proceed to bully that girl - who really doesn't look "disfigured" at all. It all boils down to adults not taking proper responsibility. (Well, I am only stating the obvious :P)

  • I wish my mom would let me have plastic surgery, then maybe, just maybe I could have bigger eyes, pulled back ears, smaller nose and bigger lips. Plus I also want a Tan, have my hair died blonde and get the wear blue eye contacts, but my mom says thats stupid...:(

  • now she can be the bully and tease kids at school for having big ears.

  • give free lipo to all fat kids before doing dumbo ears please

  • Dude I had that as a kid I still do. I used to be self conscious about it bur I didn't get surgery Jesus I just grew my hair out and now no one gives a crap

  • I think the mom is reliving some sort of experience she had as a kid... I thought the daughter looked way cuter with the ear thing.

  • SOUTH DAKOTA, I LIVE THERE!

  • everyone gets bullied during their lifetime...

  • Reminds me of an aussy mum I knew got her 11 year old sons ears pinned back and used laser hair removal surgery on her 12 year old daughter

  • Why the fuck i could of gotten plastic surgury>?

  • I think those ears are adorable..

  • wow...this is stupid

  • Comment removed

  • must...stop....clicking...related...videos....

  • @SparklesConnect omg! i have the same problem! glad i'm not that only one haha

  • @sw33th3art06 haha totally :) wow im the top comment....SWEEEET

  • Abnormalities? Did they really say this??? My god, the world is fucked up.

  • I've had plastic surgery too but mine was actually for health reasons. Anyways I can say about everyone saying she's too young, it's better to do it young so the child can adapt to it and not have many feelings or memories of the experience. I had mine when I was 19, and honestly I kinda regret doing it because I was so used to who I was. If this gives the girl a chance at a happier life, that's her choice. She definitely seems happier.

  • i wouldnt class this as plastic surgery, as long as this little cutie is happy with the result of this surgey thats all that really matters:) if it was surgery on her nose or botox fair do's. everyone has insecurities as long as she happy thats all that matters i know hundreds of people that have had it done and the biggest difference was the massive smile on their faces:)!!

  • One of my best friends did this, and so did her sister and cousin. I have never really looked at it as plastic surgery though.... Don't know why, but it really made them a lot happier. And there is some things that you just can't fix with good thoughts. Soo I can definitely understand what this girl is going through, but she is very young.

  • In France, the ears surgery is paid off by the national heath care system but only for children under 18...

  • My ears hurt right now! :P

  • i dont think it looks so good now, like.. her ears are almost ''glued'' to her head.. she was cute the way she was!

  • mayn what world are we living in ...

  • No offence, but this shows (again) how fucked up America is. Abnormalties like Samanthas? this is nog abnormal

  • I hated my ears when I was little too, but now I love them. They're like elf ears.

  • @Awkwardtunity Whoah! Same here Lol

  • i have kinda the same thing as her... both my eyes are folded over as much as hers... im 14 and i don't care... its what makes me me :) yer i got teased and i got called names (until one day when i slapped a boy in the face for teasing me) but so what ive learned to love myself because im me and its the what i was supposed to look... i believe everything happens for a reason :) <3 ur self people

  • I actually think her ears looked better without the surgery...

  • @TheHaikuLover thats what i was thinking too!

  • i thought the girl looked better before the surgery...

  • @morg942212 me too

  • Let's be realistic. When she's older they won't bully her about her ears. No they'll make false rumors about her being a slut or find something else to pick on her about. I think her mom is the real bully for not teaching her daughter to stick up for herself and have a sense of self confidence.

  • that mom was bullied forsure

  • Dont get the big deal i had the same surgery but my ears were worse and i was five i dont think it matters if your doing it for the right reasons. just doing it to stop a bully isnt a good reason.

  • she lokks waaayyyyy beter befor

  • When I was little, I was super self-conscious. I grew up with a lisp (that I still have) and my teeth have never been straight. In elementary school, people would poke fun or ask why I talked like that or would even ask me if I could stop talking like that. It sucks sometimes.

  • They are just ears! I've never considered anyone funny looking or ugly because of ears. Also, she's a little kid. Who knows? she may "grow into" her ears so that they actually fit her face.

  • @SuicidalNun key word "ive" never considered anyone funny....... unfortunately the world isnt made up of people who think like you...kids are very cruel without realising it... as long as the joke isnt on them they dont see how hurtful teasing can be. i went to elementary school with a turkish girl whose last name was UZLAS.kids and teachers alike called her USELESS she had no friends and a boy in my 4thgrade class stopped going to school because the other kids teased him about a big nose..

  • World leaders have prominent ears and didn't get plastic surgery. Why? Because they learned that they are more than just their ears, they are their intelligence, personality, and more..

  • kay, so every time you hear a negative remark on your kids facial features or what not, you result in cosmetic surgery cause YOU don't like it or SHE won't like it?

damnit. teach her to cope with it and make her imperfection into something that builds her own character!

I've always hated being called asian eyes cause i'm monolid or being teased cause i have a low bridge, but now, I could honestly care less because I know the friends I have now like me for who I am. Not because i look the part.

  • Her ears look more fucked up after the surgery.

Shame on the mother for not instilling confidence in her daughter.

  • holy shit 1:13 she looks extactly like my freind noreen!

  • I don't see the bid deal about this. I had the same surgery and I'm glad that I did. You can't really understand that choice when you've never been in such a situation.

  • omg, i thought it was gonna be much worse

  • This isn't so bad. Dunno what all the fuss is about, it's not like she's totally changing her face or anything.

  • CONGRATULATIONS MOM!!! You just took something that made your daughter unique and made her think its better for her to look like everyone else ;( poor kids she looked better before the surgury

  • Erm... I think it looks better before... =X

  • Umm..I didn't even notice her ears. Do people normally look at them?

  • why would she give her surgery when she has not developed into her real looks yet?

  • @BRATZPORNXXX Your ears don't really "change" in this way. Your nose, your boobs, yes, they do change and grow, but your ears will not suddenly pin themselves back. Getting your ear pinned back is not really "plastic" surgery, it's corrective surgery.

  • i didnt even notice her ears until they said thats what was wrong...

  • th ears were sooo much cuter before

  • It looked worse

  • What the hell? I know a girl who was born with a slightly deformed nose, your ear can be hidden by hair etc, but not your nose, some mom. Instead of saying her daughter was beautiful as she is (which she is, she is hella cute) she gives her plastic surgery?!

  • being a individual is the most likley cuase of bullying people just want sheep if you get the metaphor i should know i was bullyed in school because i refused to follow trends didi it bother me did it fu** whats the worst someone making fun of you

no one can make you feel inferior without your conset

    eloron rousavelt

note. done in a hurry proberbly some typeos

  • people are saying here that they don't see a need, and i honestly really don't in this case, but i kind of personally identify with her and im really happy for her that her parents let her do this procedure and that shes happy with it :)

  • Parents are supposed to help children accept themselves, arent they? The little girl is too young to decide a thing like that!!!

  • She actually looks better before..

  • Why not just build good self esteem? Much easier...

  • @llamalover02 Because it's not that easy to always hear criticism targeted at something you can't exactly change. You can try to ignore and not care but you can only do so after you become numb to such cruel worlds. The beginning can be very tough and unbearable. And not everyone is strong enough to do so, even if they try to build on their self esteem. Maybe we should teach our children to not be cruel to another person with words. That could be easier...

  • It was better before!

Her ears weren't hurting her...you're pretty much saying its ok to change because other people want you to...

  • she's not getting a new nose or anything, she's just putting her ears back. It's not really plastic surgery. Some kids are getting braces because they don't like their teeth and nobody's getting angry.

  • I'm just laughing at the top comment LOL.

  • She looked better before.

  • I think that she is just as beautiful then, as now.

  • i think its the mom that wanted this done, and she convinced her daughter

  • SHOOT THE SICK BITCH NOWWWWWW

  • that is one of the saddest things i ever saw.

  • Absolutely the right message to send. Thanks, mom. So, so sad.

  • @alicialynn00 totally agree.

  • If someone looks at you and says "You're disgusting" because of how you look, who is the real loser? The person who can't help themselves? or the person who is being a dick? No one should resort to plastic surgery cause THEY DID NOTHING WRONG! If you're not doing something wrong, why change what YOU'RE doing!

Next time someone makes fun of your ears, look at them back and say "God made me special...but he made you an asshole..."

  • theres the difference between actually not looking good psychologically, and then surgical reasons, or broken bones to the face. This is wrong, and can't be undone.

  • I think the ear thing is cute!! Maybe when she is 16. But she is still to youn. I think she is beautiful!! (BEFORE)

  • People used to tease me about everything, until I taught them that I didn't care, and if they kept teasing me, they would pay. Big time. Why couldn't this girl do that, instead of, essentially, cutting apart her ears?

  • to be honest these parents are stupid. i never won a battle with my parents not because the raised me, but because they're very educated and are ready to take matters seriously no matter who where or when. seeing them this as their only choice is pathetic.parents should be ready for any complications that includes financial, health, moral and internal situations

  • Mum, learn to tell your kid to love yourself, as whitney houston said... Greatest love of all mum

  • Comment removed

  • @XxxXJessXxxXilysm how do you wear makeup on your ears?

  • oh god, how stupid.

  • My ears look like that ;D (without the folding) and I got bullied for EVERYTHING but my ears (cuz they are covered by my hair) I was called monkey face a couple of times but xP well.. as long as it makes the kid fell better :)

  • Everyone gets teased. If it wasn't ears, it'll be the fact that she had plastic surgery. Or how she does in class. It's not kids that are mean, everyone is. I think the mom was projecting her own insecurities onto her child.

I think she looked better beforehand.

  • I think it's nice her mom cares enough to do anything for her kid, it's not like its a nose job or botox. Bullying can and has led to more suicides in this generation more so then past ones.

  • OH she's been teased? who hasn't...

this is ridiculous,, its telling your kid its right to change what they look like to fit in..messed up

  • People who were never bullied don't realize how bad it can get. I think this mother allowed the plastic surgery out of a place of love. I am in no way saying that plastic surgery is always the best way out.

  • theres a boy in my class who has ears like that and no one cares

  • omg why have plastic surgery shes fine just wear a hat!!!

  • wow. I would never get my kid plastic surgery unless she was seriously deformed.

  • ...Ohhh please. I know a guy with a completely closed up ear. I mean, its a blob.

But does ANYONE at our school care? No. Not one person ever even mentions it.

Why? Because he was born with it.

Not like it's gonna kill you or something just cause it's deformed.

  • The ears looked better before the surgery. After the surgery, it looks a bit weird.

  • that's the parent's problem not the child's problem. jeez

  • ears looked cuter before surgery :/

  • i thinks she looks better before the surgery

  • Wow... kids are complete pussies nowadays.

  • And honestly, if someone REALLY wanted to bully you, they can most certainly find other things than your ears. Does that mean that every time someone doesn't like something about you that Mommy's gonna fly you to NY and let you get a plastic surgery procedure? The mom is teaching her kids to avoid their problems, rather than confront them. She should instead be teaching her that there is no such thing as a "quick fix" in life, and as she grows older, more important things will come to light.

  • Actually, it looks weirder after the surgery...her ears look like theyre being glued back to the sides of her head...I mean, what she had before HONESTLY wasn't that bad; compare that to kids that have a collapsed nose or a cleft lip...she was actualyl LUCKY that it was her ears that are 90% hidden by her hair and not something more prominent on her face..

  • yeh thats a great message if theirs something wrong that other people may not like about you, just change it. be better by changing yourself. if its just for the little girl its different (not saying its rite either way) but it didnt really seem like it was the kid that wanted it. plus shes a kid, whos still growing theyd fit the rest of her body once she grew.....parents should have just helped her understand that being different doesnt mean theres something wrong with her.

  • lady...go die in a fire ... that is all!

  • she looks cuter with the ears that stick out

  • So the girl wasn't bullied. The mom just wanted her to have surgery probably because SHE was insecure. tsk tsk. And the girl would probably grow into her ears. When I was little I had big ears, but now I'm fine. *sigh* first world problems...

  • See, I didnt even notice that her ears were different, and they really arent!

  • i thought it was gonnah be for like a plastic nose job or something else

but FOR HER EARS that totally fine with me i would of done the same,.!!!! (:

  • Instead of paying thousands of dollars for cosmetic surgery, she could have invested in martial arts lessons. The only way to deal with bullies is to stick up to them. and the mom is being a bad role model to this girl.

  • i think the mother is bothered by this more then the kid...

  • i think its okay as long as the daughter is happy. shes happy.

  • no i wouldnt

  • why is the news lady all up in their grill??????????

  • Instead of promoting plastic surgery to a 7 YEAR OLD, a good mother would've taught her to embrace her differences. Kids find every reason to pick on one another; if it wasn't her ears, it would have been something else.

  • paused the vid. decided not to waste time watching it.

  • Fuck. This. There are LOADS of kids and adults who get bullied and don't have ANY physical abnormalities.

  • I know a person who was born with no butt hole, so they had to cut it open.

HOW IS THIS WORSE THAN THAT.

  • @kckinsmcg when someone has no butt holes they can't poop. It's like you are saying "what's a difference between a person who has to do under the knife because they can't hear, and fixing an ear shape, because they are ugly?"

  • @kckinsmcg Because you need a butt hole to live and you don't need pretty ears to live.

Anyway I honestly don't think this is bad, though. My cousin also had her ears fixed as a kid.

  • i was bullied at school once i hunted them all down and bunched the living fuck out of them then while there were on the ground i kicked the fuck out of them its stopped after that funny enough.

  • are u crazy people? even lil kids like 4-5 y o are getting their ears fixed. thats the best age for this kind of plastic surgeries. All the other ones, like rhinoplasty is obviously way too early.

  • I'm happy for her, but I'm a little confused as to why the doctor said her ears weren't a cosmetic issue. Did I miss something? Is there a medically sound reason to justify her getting ears pinned back?

  • ....i liked her ears before....

  • Seriously, stop bitching. The girl got it, she's happier, why are you people freaking out? If she were in middle school, she'd be under attack, and you'd be okay with it then. I'm happy for her.

  • Calling ears that stick out a bit an "abnormality" seems a bit much....

  • the doctor said it would grow out... but it never did. She's fucking 7 years old!!!!!!! never?!? she's 7!!!!!!! your acting like you've waited 20 years!

  • her ears had nothing wrong!!

  • To be honest i dont see anything wrong with this? if it effecting someone so much why not change there imperfections? if they have the money and really want to?

I'm sure everyone would love to change one thing about them.

  • I have big ears and I'm 14 and have never been made fun of for it. People these days. ..

  • my mom got her ears pinned back because hers stuck out too.. unfortunatly i inherited it..its not that bad, but ive thought about pinning back my ears also..

  • i wish to god i could get plastic surgery like that. id get my nose done then get gastric bypass so i could lose weight easier!!! (trust me im not lazy or anything, my tsh is 495 so i'll probably never be able to lose 20 lbs in less than a year) =(

  • i had this done!

  • Fuck plastic surgery! I say Gracie bullyproof is the answer

  • love the luggage

  • Really? You get plastic surgery for a freaking 7 year old? She gets " bullied " because her ears are to " big "? Some people can use that money for something useful. She wasn't even getting bullied. Being called ' big ears ' isn't bad. Wait until middle school.

  • I'm always bullied

  • lol'd at kate hudsons ears.

  • kids will still bully her ..its sad the young girl didnt lov wat she saw before her surgery ...my ears are similar to hers they both look different and my right one looks just like hers ....Im glad my mom didnt consider surgery i lov my ears theyre different but its how God make me ..i got called bacon ears and was teased growin up a great deal about my appearance but kids and ppl in general will always talk about u no matter how much u change ..its being confident in ur skin dat wats matters

  • I have this alittle n i wouldnt even put my hair up when i was little but i eventually grew into my ears n now they dont bother me at all

  • wtff omfg i agree kids have much more worse conditions then this !

  • I think she looked cutier before the surgery. It's sad that a mom would change her beautiful baby just because of bullying. Everyone goes through it in life.

  • I think her ears are totally cute :)

  • that whole thing about popularity affecting "self-identity" is completely BULLSHIT. self identity has to do with a sence of self and who u are as a person, NOT to do with popularity. thats a self esteem issue.

  • it doesn't matter i had my ears pinned back

  • thas stupid. if you ask me its the mom whos getting upset and its the mom who cant accept her daughter for her ears.

  • This is horrible. Kids ARE NOT just mean. Their parents teach them to be that way. This poor little girl wouldnt have to go through painful surgery and torment if people would just teach their children not to be rude assholes, and not be that way themselves. what a sin, Id like to slap everyone that ever made a rude comment to this beautiful little girl. I think her ears were cute before :(

  • her ear looked better before

  • What's sad is a kid will find another thing to make fun of her for

  • @WhatsErName6128 i agree
