i dunno about these cars but my passat 2.0 tdi actually reduces some engine power and makes it sound crappy when low on fuel - but gets like 4L/100km on highway tho - which is like holy crap! level of economy
@geati6783 it's barely noticeable, most people wont tell the difference, ive seen this happen on a bmw530d as well, and i think it's a very sensible thing to do for a car manufacturer... i once almost ran out of fuel in a foreign country expecting to find a better fueling station "on the way" and i bet this thing saved my ass... cuz i drove about 10 miles on 0.0km left on the screen until i arrived in a petrol station.. actually ill do more research on this - doubt my ears and eyes are lying
