@sqboyz23 No. This pacman had serious digestive issues, and his vet recommended this setup for him until the problem resolved its self. There is a link that you can cut and paste on my homepage for proper pacman care. It is alright to move the frog to a feeding tank on feeding day to prevent accidental consumption of bedding. I highly recommend the care sheet.
@concanchris Actually that is wrong, if he had digestive problems then you take him out of his normal habitat and feed him in a separate habitat with paper towels. This keeps him from getting any unwanted peat moss into his system. Never keep them with paper towels.
@truints This video was taken over a year ago, and I'll listen to the vet thanks. The frog is fine thanks for your concern, and he no longer expels his stomach after eating. He is back in a habitat where he is able to burrow. Pete moss is infamous for causing intestinal blockages by the way, and if you knew what you were talking about you would know that.
@concanchris Dude, vets are a waist of money. Look these things up online before you end up spending 1000$ on a 10 minute consultation with your local scam station.
@truints Um, I'll decline your advice thanks. If I have a pet that expels it's stomach, it's going to the vet. Common sense, and if you don't want to spend the money if a pet gets sick, you have no business having pets in the first place.
@Arctaris There is supposed to be a powdered pacman diet that you mix with water that will take the place of crickets, baby mice, rats, ect. I look forward to that frog food being available in the U.S.
@sdawg5511 They are one of the easier frogs to care for, but there's a lot of bad info on how to care for them. For instance, people keep them in either plastic or glass bowls with a few inches of water and fish tank rocks at the bottom of the tank. WRONG! I'll send you a care sheet on how to care for these guys. Let me add (not on any care sheet i've ever seen) never place aquarium on an outside wall. Never place aquarium near a window so direct sunlight can cook him. care sheet on the way.
@concanchris i recently bought a albino pacman frog. and i noticed the bad info and conflicting reports on care and feeding. mine is in a 30 gallon tank with coco fiber in the tank. right now she is on a diet of small earthworms, meal worms and crickets. she (at least i hope it's a she!) could sit on a half dollar an have room left over. i was wondering if i could get a copy of your care sheet?
@MickeyLS I stay away from the gold fish now because of the parasites. Sounds like you're doing well with your frog. The 10 gallon that everyone recommends isn't big enough for a female. Also, don't place the aquarium against an outside wall or where sunlight can heat the tank. I'll send you a link via mail. U tube won't let me post a link.
He's a boy. He started croaking a couple of weeks ago. Considering what he's been through with his digestive issues, I think he's looking pretty amazing. Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing from here on out.
