This could be true but an enterprising attorney could find a way to make a lot of money off this case. inmendham is far from the only one with these clams on YouTube, an enterprising attorney could turn this into a class action suit against YT, they have not followed their TOS many times. Charges can and have been added once you get a docket.

Of course there's no such thing as freedom of speech. It's a good idea, of course, and we indeed need need constitutional rights to it as to help prevent one's government from showing up in the middle of the night to haul you away for publicly saying Bush is an arsehole or something, but one wouldn't want to go out on a busy street corner and start preaching intentions to overthrow your government. You'd find very quickly that freedom of speech you thought protected you disappears very quickly.
The idea behind free speech is that one can say whatever they wish without consequence. But if one plans to murder somebody and starts telling everybody around them they plan to do so, that will indeed land you in prison, all for just TALKING about doing something of that nature. So where is the freedom of speech there? It doesn't exist. However, we indeed enjoy a lot more freedom to voice our opinions than many others in the world, for which we should be glad, but it's not complete freedom.

The right to fair comment on YouTube doesn't have to be reasonable. You can't sue someone on YouTube over the right to express an opinion, ANY opinion during the course of a debate. BCJ probably picked on inmendham because he wanted subs. The reason I believe this is because he went after that trannie soon after he became a partner, then he followed up with a video bashing inmendham (another easy target on YouTube) ... bjc pretty much got the result he wanted when inmendham decided to sue him.. attention, subs and $ from YT.
This is pretty standard on les tubes and inmendham shouldn't have DMCA'd imo. He can win the war of words, he's not a holocaust denier or a racist.

I always thought he should be criticized, but the "holocaust denier" titled videos BS and his picture in nazi uniform,jewish star, Hitler, with his id, name, was going over lines big time. Inmendham has repeatedly called me a liar - repeatedly...If I try to defend myself, he does another video insulting and embarrassing me. I'm a writer, and he will not stop doing it. I'm a realist too, and I have repeatedly pointed out to Inmendham that when he does what he does to me in videos, it will result in trolls and haters coming directly after me, and he laughs at me and just keeps doing it. BTW are terms like skanky cunt, fucktard etc. etc NOT somehow personal insults? If not, why not?

WhiskeySlim, disagreeing with someone is NOT insulting them. I have NEVER called Inmendham any of the things he calls other people, nor would I. Again, it's pointless to insult a woman by referring to her in the way that Inmendham does. He also said that he had done it to only one woman, unfortunately, he was mistaken about that. Inmenham will have to prove that he is of good character to win in court, and calling people what he insists on calling them does not strengthen his position.

What are you talking about? Haters Anonymous? Statements like that are the reason I find YouTube such a sad place. I just want to use YouTube for discussion and research. In fact, that's the way I began with Inmendham. I naively thought that if I showed him articles and sources that were in disagreement with his positions on evolution, etc., he would offer specific reasons for his positions, but to my amazement, he instead just made name calling videos about me personally. I had enough!

My earlier reply to this didn't post. That channel was a joke, a spoof...I created it three weeks ago and haven't visited it since. Look at that channel. It's obvious that it's a spoof. I have one other channel...2bsiriuscomments. I don't use either of them, and I don't troll or hate...If I disagree with someone, I think the best thing to do is just tell that person the issues or problems I have, and then see what they have to say. And when I do that I don't hide who I am. Don't see the point.

Other people giving their opinion is not a method of demanding or forcing another to think a certain way. Its an opion, ask Webster about it. Your view of Gary is what counts in the long run. Again, I admire your passion but I think you are making some huge generalizations.

One would think a realist would know that forming any strong opinions about people they most likely don't truly know is quite unwise, indeed. YT videos only present a small picture of who people truly are. I get that you understand that to a degree from what you've said about Inmendham, whether your opinion of him is true or not. However, just as one can not be perfectly sure who Inmendham truly is through his vids only, the same is true for bcj999 and everybody else involved in this issue.

Looks can indeed be very deceiving. It is, in my view, very foolish indeed to form opinions about anybody here on YT one does not personally know well. Knowing somebody online just doesn't quite do it. So, though one forms an opinion through their impressions of people, I think it unwise to commit yourself completely to that point of view; it could indeed be unfounded. I surely hope you've not done so, because, as much as anybody else could be wrong about each other, so too could you be of them.

Of course there's no such thing as freedom of speech. It's a good idea, of course, and we indeed need need constitutional rights to it as to help prevent one's government from showing up in the middle of the night to haul you away for publicly saying Bush is an arsehole or something, but one wouldn't want to go out on a busy street corner and start preaching intentions to overthrow your government. You'd find very quickly that freedom of speech you thought protected you disappears very quickly.

The idea behind free speech is that one can say whatever they wish without consequence. But if one plans to murder somebody and starts telling everybody around them they plan to do so, that will indeed land you in prison, all for just TALKING about doing something of that nature. So where is the freedom of speech there? It doesn't exist. However, we indeed enjoy a lot more freedom to voice our opinions than many others in the world, for which we should be glad, but it's not complete freedom.
