Well how was it that she was able to have a double when she was just in regular mode? And why does she have doubles of her doubles in darkforce mode?

Well, I believe that it is because is not her double, the player maybe chose in the menu the option to play with a partner, another lilith. When the two lilith do the "dark force" are altogether 4 lilith

It's one of her dark force modes. Use it with Luminous Illusion and get 4 Liliths at once. Mostly a waste of meter, but good for teh lulz.
