  • Poor Google employees. They had to sit through this painful presentation for 1 hour and 14 minutes, provided they didn't get hypnotized and fall asleep by the glare from the presenter's bald head.

  • This is extremely helpful and I enjoyed it...Thank you for the share on Youtube :)

  • I find it really annoying that he keeps starting a different sentence halfway through a sentence.

  • wow, this is even worse than hereafter

  • @Zemoch93 You do realize google owns youtube correct?

  • @evanisredhot rly ? lol didnt know :D i dont rly care who owns what

  • I don't get it. He bitches and bitches about syncing with a USB cable but what other way is there to get music and video on your mobile device? WIreless is much much slower than USB, then there's um.... well that's it, either wait to sync over USB or wait 10x as long for a wireless sync. I chose USB.

  • zzz

  • Very informative talk on mobile. Thanks for sharing!

  • wow, why am i watching this...and why am i still watching it.

*going into the video, i have NO idea what it's about. the video fails to explain itself about 100 times.

*video needed to have a lot of chunks edited out.

*audio has scratchy bumps in the beginning.

    * test out your audio before the video starts, because switching audio mid-way is not acceptable at all from professionals in any industry.

    * cool to know that iphone is kicking the internet growth's butt. that's actually pretty funny.

  • is there anyone at all that even whached 5mins of this video?..

  • great talk :-) Jump to 2.10 for the talk to start

  • Hey steve lick my balls

  • So this is what really rich nerds do for fun.... huh.

  • ONE hour and fOURtEEN minutes? .. so many things i could be doing. besides this. goodbye!

  • i saw all these assholes complaing about the long run time, obvious signs of a short attention span and no work ethic... i just changed it because it said the opinions are of guest speakers and not of google inc...

  • I watched it completely ! full !

  • 1 hour 15 minutes? no thanks, next video!

  • /watch?v=TL_PIBi0oLE

  • 1 hour and fourteen minutes.. no thank you

  • @GoldenKid94 I think patience is what separates the fools from the smart people.

  • @juslikejesus or people with better things to do then waste 74 minutes watching a lame video.

  • @juslikejesus No, I think patience is what separates those who have a life and other stuff to do from those who are retarded!

  • This is a waste talk. No useful information.

  • Yeah I hate the fact I can't favorite or subscribe to podcast in iTunes.

Applers, get to work on that one. Jason Grigsby agrees with me.

  • @Javerageguy Apple has said they're going to update wireless syncing, but we know it'll be years before it'll happen.

  • Sound is horrible, very hard to start focused

  • This is a timely and pertinent presentation.

Businesses treat the web/mobile technology like a magic spell, that is: I perform these thoughtless steps and I will succeed. What a fallacy! Understanding your customers and why they use your service should be the foundation for everything you do. It seems to me this talk could be summarized to this: Focus on your customers and their needs and you will succeed.

    Thanks to Google

  • That challenge doesn't make very good sense to me.

Every bubble is exponential-like before it bursts. Mobile still has huge problems, and this discussion mainly ignores that. The people who haven't adopted have problems to adoption that are not easy to address, and the ubiquity of the mobile web is severely severely challenged.

How about some phone contract reform? Android also failed to open up the market like it was supposed to. Google is just another Apple now, not an Apple-killer.

  • Why do nearly all google videos have sound issues somewhere in them? :P

  • ative apps are limited because they don't readily interact with the rest of the web.

  • This was a fantastic presentation! One of the only times I have watched the whole thing!

  • autoMOBILE

  • I never really thought about the differences and similarities of stand-alone apps and mobile websites until I watched this. Its very interesting. Like for instance Youtube had an APP for the android phone BEFORE they had a mobile website, and the funny think is that the mobile website is 100 times better.
