  • They are so great as watercolors!! My favorite use for them!!

  • I'm learning how to not suck at art and picked up some Nupastels today on a while while I was at Guiry's. I didn't know you could use them as watercolors! I'm so excited! :3

  • I'm drooling over these pastels. Lovely! I'm really enjoying your channle. :)

I use my prismacolor pencils and mineral spirits with stumps or tortillions and get a great blend and gradient of color on a smoother paper. I think the watercolor paper is too absorbant for the mineral spirits to work thier magic with these pastels. I use Neenah Classic Crest in 80# or Cryogen White (which has a super shimmer to it) in 80#.

As a watercolor cake, they seem like a lot of fun & very rich. Thanks!

  • You are so welcome!! I'm so glad it helped!

  • Thank you so much for this video! I was feeling iffy on purchasing these over Amazon but you laid it out so perfectly! I can't wait to get them and go to town!

  • Thinks for this video, I to like Princeton brushes, good brush.
