When you see this movie, the fact that it's a superhero movie never comes across your mind. It's a well-matured version of the comics. I went to see it again just to watch the Joker.

anyone noticed that the way the joker says kill the batman in the trailer is different from how he says it in the movie, there are also similarities to the 1989 movie eg, showdown happens high up on a building and the chicken scene is like the 1989 movie with the bat wing, great movie though 5/5

Remember the first movie where that weaponized hallucinogen was dispersed en masse into the "narrows"? And the inmates at Arkum Asylum were released? Well, the Dark Knight picks up the story right after, and THAT's probably where he got all his mentally unstable followers from who don't give a sh*t if he burns money. He had too much control over himself? He was OUT of control, out of his g*ddamn mind. Bombs are easy to plant if you have enough people (mob buddies, anyone?). The length was fine.

... You can so both at the same time... And there is nothing wrong with analyzing the movie if they are only gonna be able to see it once before it comes out on dvd in like a year... the movie has done so well in theaters that it might come out on dvd for quite sometime, and unless they are going to watch it once every week in theaters whats so wrong with analyzing it? People want to not miss any part of it esspically this movie because its just such a great movie.
