  • if that was the last frame where did the others go? its a shame this car went to saudi arabia but someone had to have the last vic didnt they?

  • @fomocoboy any extra frames that were left over were crushed and sold as scrape metal

  • the reason they axed the crown vic was because it was costing them to retool for the vic. i do agree the cops are going to hate the awd taurus. ford should have got the ford falcon from australia and have them retooled for the american market.

  • Follow me on Twitter @jamie_manz

  • I just bought a 04 used police vic. sweet thing

  • @chasefilming Me too! Effin sweet.

  • @chasefilming Enjoy it!

  • @chasefilming Same with me. Great car!

  • I made a petition to bring back the Crown Victoria for 2012/2013+ model years. Here's the link if anyone wants to sign it...

    ipetitions(dot)com/petition/stap2012plus

  • @sonic3243 inbox me the link to the petition and i will post it on the Facebook page

  • RIP Vics proud owner of 00 crown vic p71

  • they gone bring it back like dey did the camero and it gone look like a damn space ship watch damn shame long live the CROWN VICTORIA

  • man i want that car

  • Definately one of my favorite cars. It's a pitty that I will never drive one of those, because I'm from Europe. But it definately represents the power, endurance and character of the US car industry. I hope Ford Vic hasn't said "goodbye" but only "till next time" :)

  • If I were ford, I would change the V8 to include variable valve timing, direct injection, led lights and a cylinder deactivation technology (like dodges). That will raise the horse power to around 330 and increase fuel economy to around 19/24

  • this is so heartbreakingly sad and absolutely shameful!

  • thats sad

  • so sad ;( , i'm 21 and proud owner of a 2001 grand marquis with 35k miles!! :)

  • I wanna cry. I really wanna cry.

  • what will officer friendly drive instead?

  • @yayaeloh Ford is trying to push them the new Taurus

  • @suprmanz81 officer friendly will most likely not like the new taurus, they seem to gravitate towards rear wheel drive, that was one of the complaints about impalas...but what other rear wheel drive sedans are left except cadillacs?

  • Will remain the best and best known to the police car and knew people in the world

  • The other Ford Mustangs will be both for Japan and rfor North America and other markets that sell the Mustang. The St.Thomas Assembly Plant will be the only one that built superior quality Ford Mustangs when it comes to the Canadian part of the JAFTA treaty.

Ford Mustangs built for the Highway Patrol well the Police Interceptor Mustangs will be equiped with a precision turbo boost 6 speed automatic transmission from Hitachi that is made in Japan.

  • In the Canadian part of JAFTA when the Flatrock plant in the US is closed Japanese manufactures begin to export transmission for the Mustang at its new plant in Canada both Shimano for manual transmissions and Hitachi with the latest state of the art 6speed automatic transmissions all coming from Japanese factories to be sent at Ford's St.Thomas facilty to be put in the Mustangs.

The first Ford Mustnag built at the plant where the Crown Vic was built will be purple and for Japan.

  • Well I do have and idea called JAFTA that is a free trade agreement between the United States, Canada, and Japan. The Canadian part of JAFTA will only have a negative effect on the people that works in Flatrock, Michigan when Ford and the government of Japan plans to outsource production of the Ford Mustang to Canada due to the inferior quality of Chinese manual transmission done at the Flatrock plant.

  • those cars are da best dat waz really sad

  • farewell old friend

  • damn that really sucks

  • the last vic should have goten a gt500 motor with a 6 speed and 800rwhp

  • The Crown Victoria is a amazing sedan. Sad that ford shut down that assembly plant. Cops around here hate the new Ford Taurus "Police Interceptor" that has a weaker engine, smaller room, and just not enough horsepower.

Also, the last Crown Victoria (In this video) was sold to a Saudi Arabian buyer, so the Crown Vic is a different version from the American one. I wonder what was the last US crown vic.

  • what a shame

  • long live the vic my 1988 vic will live on

  • Rip Crown Victoria, hats off to you! I hope to have mine for a long time to come! and maybe just maybe by the time mines bit the dust..i can get a brand new one if ford comes to their senses! Dodge Charger may have power..but its a unibody and unable to withstand the test of time, same said for Chevy Impala....The Ford Crown Victoria is America's icon! not to mention used around the world and loved for its plush ride and responsive performance. I hope Ford wakes up after their sales drop off.

  • With the Crown Vic gone, there's a gaping hole left in Ford's lineup. Ford should bury the slow-selling, POS Taurus and Flex for good, and make a new Crown Vic sedan AND wagon (I'm sure this would sell, especially with ecoboost for mileage) that are RWD with standard 5.0 V8, optional ecoboost. Ford will fall behind if it continues to bank on just trucks and shitbox "world" cars. They can't expect Americans to squeeze into little Fiestas.

    :(

  • @mercedesfan650 trust me, when gas is $8/gal because some turd wearing a diaper on his head decides to shut off the spigot, or states and dealerships are forced to charge people more and higher penalties and taxes for vehicles over a certain wheelbase or engine displacement, Americans will find a way to "squeeze into little Fiestas".

That will go for trucks and SUVs too. The American auto industry has been insanely wasteful since the 50s. Those days have to come to an end.

  • My petition is trying to keep these cars made ipetitions(dot)com/stap2012plus

THUMBS UP SO OTHER PEOPLE CAN SEE IT!

These cars are much better than any other car, and when running on CNG better for the environment than a Prius or Volt will ever be!

Heck, even the E85 is great! "Customers are looking for more fuel efficient options" -BS. CNG costs as low as 78 cents per gallon in places like Oklahoma. You can even get it filled up right at your home.

  • :')

  • RIP my beloved queen.

  • I haven't felt this sad since Oldsmobile died and the last Alero rolled off the line. It's sad to see a great car like this be discontinued.

  • (sniff), R.I.P Ford crown victoria. ill always remember you! youre the best car ever!

  • Goodbye Crown Victoria! We will never forget you! :))

  • Long live the mighty Crown Vic

  • Comment removed

  • well.... cheers to a great car and to this cars history! we will all miss you crown vic!

  • Goodbye you BOF Beauty :(

  • The people of St.Thomas are fed up with this crap now no more tears the Crown Vic maybe gone but its time to convince Ford to reopen the plant bring back the LTD nameplate make the first one black and let the Taurus eat some dust !

I want to see the Town Car back also !

  • @Embargoman are you also wishing you could drive home from your job and call your friend on your landline to tell him about the VHS tape you rented to watch on your 19" B&W tube-laden TV? or record songs off the radio with your cassette recorder to make a mix tape to share with your girlfriend while you're both eating your Swanson TV dinner in the aluminum tray?

    21st century...look into it sometime.

  • now ford is officially a shit company, no good car remaining! just as any euro trash FWD that requires high maintenance! R.I.P. FORD and I mean RUST in piece ford!

  • @jetpack1986 Just because they killed the panther platform does not mean that they have to outsource production of the Ford Mustang to keep production of the St.Thomas Plant but still the Mustang is still alive because I thought they are going to stay open and that the Mustang will not be made in the USA anymore because they shift production to Canada just to keep St.Thomas open but no they have to close it. What they did is something stupid instead of getting an Australian designed model !

  • Its about time they've kept it the same for over 13 years

  • My car is a victory crow love him because he is my faithful companion and never left me a

now sell auto dump crap eastern

because they take away the crow win one of the best cars of america

    hold is back

  • I'm not sure whether to like or dislike this video? )= It is so sad that they have stopped production on the most reliable car to ever have rolled on this planet! I have owned 4 Towncars and 3 crown victorias! They will be the only type of car I will ever own. Ford for life! (No I haven't owned that many because they break down...1 of them I was in a huge accident, the others either I wanted a newer model or I built it, got bored, and moved on.) (=

  • Car companies don't make cars, they make money

  • @jason123456789210 i don't understand how selling that kind of car in the u.s. is illegal???

  • @Embargoman this seriously made me cry, i haven't had my first car yet but when i do im willing to get a 97 Town Car Cartier Series. and when i do i will never let it leave my possession until the day i die! these cars will soon enough be good collector cars.

  • @planetvicecity yes you have the right to cry ..i cry too. but the good thing is i have my crown vic. and i love it too much coz about 20days ago someone hit me from the back i look at my car just the stop light broken but his car badly crashed.in that time i did not stop laughing.

i spend about 75$ to repair .he spend over then 1200$

  • Wait until those Chinese chinks produce a poorly-made copy of this Crown Victoria that cannot pass a crash test even at low speeds.

  • @Brandic2020 that's the spirit [communisation](!)

  • @Brandic2020 Yes they did and they made the first Town Car knockoff and I bet they sell alot of Lincoln Town Car knockoffs even though they might be the same quality as the St.Thomas built Town Cars except when it comes to crash safety that let you end up in a real Town Car hearse !

  • @Embargoman I liked your last sentence.

  • Within a matter of time, this Crown Victoria is going to be turned into a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (not because of me).

  • @Brandic2020 Well someday when ever you go to a 20th Century Fox theme park you'll see the car used in Taxi.

  • V8, high torque, rear-wheel drive, four-doors, five seats, large trunk, roomy interior, safety, sleek design, and built and designed in America by Americans. This car had it all.

  • OK I see the video and its kind of sucks to see the last car at St.Thomas of the first car to come out of production in 1984 I am and I was planing to post something about the Town Car on Facebook about how was the great success of hopes and dreams when the Lincoln Town Car outsource their Wixom production, at the Keep St.Thomas Assembly Plant Open and Producing page on Facebook I was about to do Town Car talk you blocked me so I know it sucks to kill two great products !

  • ford is gonna regret doing that for a long time. Those new intercepters suck dick, ford is gonna lose a lot of money to, in my opinion, dodge. RIP Crown Victoria, maybe I'll see you again one day. (if ford wakes up)

  • @TheBjmr I hope they see the movie Taxi and maybe they'll bring back anotther old timer that has been famus in the 1970's and probably Ford might bring back the LTD sports sedan, why in the world you want a sports car for the highway patrol so you could have it all the power of the Mustang with the comfort of a full size car the LTD will be the one to be the real Corwn Victoria Sport for real to let the Dodge Charger R/T eat some dirt !

  • it will be back once the design is re-thought. Mark my words on it.

  • The end of an era. The last of the real cars that we grew up with and learned how to drive in.

  • i dont see why ford would stop making these cars its the last full frame car in the world

  • It was a car special. In my country, Saudi Arabia, in every neighborhood you see about 20 cars from the Crown Victoria and Grand Marquis. It is superior to the caprice of a new model 2000 to 2011. Caprice car stupid. Of course, I mean talk Caprice 2000 to 2011.

  • I never worked there but live in London all my life and it just brings a tear to your eye just imaging what these people are feeling.

  • Ford is discontinuing the Ranger too. Where am I going to find a truck that will almost haul a full sheet of plywood now?

  • I'm waiting. In Saudi Arabia

  • I cried while watching this :'( I've got two of them, and knowing that there will be no more produced is very sad. They're some pretty nice cars. They will be missed...

  • @95Swampfox Me too :'(

  • great selling the last car to terrorists probably as a road side bomb

  • Sad Day Sad Day im going to miss the crown victoria

  • Well this is sad....Time to take extra care of my Crown Victoria. Its a damn shame. ever since that "Mallah" guy took over ford in 09, he wanted to scrap production on this amazing car for more fuel efficient methods....now granted they noted the car had decreased by 60% in sales over the last decade. but still no reason to end it. It had a selective market. End of an era i guess....

  • Ive seen pictures of the last Grand Marquis, it went to Saudi Arabia also

  • Not for sale, but it had to go to the middle east cuz it's illegal in the US

  • @jason123456789210 Well its made with the same specifications to concern of safety as its luxury sibling the Town Car has the highest crash safety rating both of them where made at the same plant so this is why Ford killed two great products the Taurus is made in the US and the MKT is made in the same country where the Town Car from 2008 and up where made but at the Oakville plant, Ford will regret the MKT is ugly and the Taurus might be of unknown quality as a police cruiser.

  • Sad video for the full sized car lover. The old USA, the one that had a national culture of doo wop, longer lower and wider cars, drive in theaters, and national pride. It died a long time ago unfortunately, but the Crown Vic was there to remind us of that time, to bring us back to that time, if not for anything else but to hold onto it just a little bit longer (as the Zodiacs would say). On the day that this video was filmed, all that was left of those days died.

  • yes never forget him

  • Why on earth did Ford end the production of these cars ????

  • @zoomeristen My guess is because of the gas mileage it gets. But, it is one of the most popular cars, no one really cared about the mileage, especially their biggest customers, the POLICE. Very sad that they are gone.

  • @hopetobetrooper Yeah, you're probably right. But if there is a market for the product,it then becomes even more surprising. My suggestion, they should have made the Eco Boost V6 an option.A mileage improver and powerful.

  • @zoomeristen Yea, very true. There must be more to why they did stop the production. All I know is I am gonna miss it.

  • @hopetobetrooper But what also sucks, it is going to the middle east, where it will just get destroyed. Not cool for the last vic.

  • My first Car was A 1992 Crown Vic LX maroon ext maroon int manufactured in 7/91 paid $1800 had 87K on it. It had the early belt tensioner that was aluminum and had a mount for the pass side ignition coil. I loved that car. It kept me safe in 2 accidents and still ran. I ended up swapping the motor into another 92 in Jan 02 in was light blue with A blue interior. My folks sold it for me when I was stationed in Germany with the Army for 3 years. When I got home I bought a '96 P71 it was silver.

  • @hendo337 I paid $600 dollars for it. It had 148K miles on it. I spent $300 tuning it up myself. It went 135mph :D for $900 you can't beat. I get A year out of it. I had to sell it for scrap after the tranny wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th gear and the defective manifold was leaking to badly for me to top it off and drive it to work. A monthlater I got a letter from ford with the recall I could have had it fixed for free. I still lose sleep over that car. My next Crown vic was an '05 I bought in

  • @hendo337 Feb 07 had 19K on it. It was Beige on Tan leather it was an LX. I put Ford Racing 18' 5 spoke silver cal spc mustang style wheels on it with BFG G force tires a home made K&N CAI and had a custom made 2 1/4" true dual with H pipe exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and Magnaflow tips put on it maurader style. I had it dynoed and it put 210RWHP and 257 ft lbs TQ down on A 90 degree day on a mustang dyno. I traded it for an F150 a year later. My last Panther was an '01 grand marquis GS.

  • @hendo337 I had it dualed out with an H pipe and thrush welded mufflers(fake flowmasters) made an home made K&N Cai. It was a great car. I saved my life when I encountered black ice and A telephone call in jan '10. I now have an '11 mustang 5.0 and an '11 F150 5.0. I love Panthers and I will defiantly buy an other one in the near future. I am thinking FRPP Coyote 5.0 crate motor and 6R swap the way the 2012 Crown Vic should have been. Shame on Ford for abandoning this american icon. Fuck Taurus!

  • Hopefully they will re-launch a new Crown Vic line in the future

  • @VFA103JollyRogers if i get to be ford ceo i'd make a completely different V12 crown vic to compete with RR Bently BMW and Mercedes

  • boo hoo wahh wahh

  • i've watched it for 10 times and i'm still crying...

    gone but never forgotten!

  • All Hail The Queen, Her Majesty Crown Victoria, we LOVE You!!

  • i would love to see who said ok to send the very last traditional american car to a country that hates us? at the very least it should have stayed in Canada or the USA. that hurts....as much as losing the vic.

  • I don't know can we do a lawsuit and sued. Ford for the stop production of not only the Crownvic but the Mercury Grand Marquis and Marauder as well ?

  • @tacsniper762 The Marauder has been gone since 2003, they did one year and the no more...

  • Some saudi is scrubbing those signatures off right now. Very sad.

  • Why would they send that car to Saudi Arabia? It should stay in America where it belongs! Put it in the Ford museum next to the first one they built :)

  • @djrandallp

in saudi arabia we love this car we dont use it in taxi companies

when i drive in any road i see the half of cars in the road is crown vic and G.marquis

but in USA u use it for taxi and police

i have grand marquis 08 and I think after 5 years when i want change my car to new model think how i can find good Crown vic or G.marquis

belive me we love those cars

  • can u write the VIN number *_*

  • Such a sad day. A real car now gone.

  • send one to Allentown America On Wheels Mueseum! it belongs there withs all other old ford cars and such

  • Best Car EVER !!! And they wanna replace it with shit like the focus or fusion !!

  • As that last Crown Victoria left the St. Thomas Plant, came the end to Ford ruling the police sedan industry.

  • وش السالفة

  • ): Why

  • Farewell ...... will go to Saudi Arabia Welcome

Farewell ...... will go to Saudi Arabia Welcome

  • The car I love most...

    Crown Vic ;(

  • if they were smart, they should put it on Ebay

  • @suprmanz81 From the first time I watched this video, and everytime since,I really start to cry.

  • @100aceswid FORD you have made a HORRIBLE mistake,Crown Victoria we love you. I cry all the time I see this video, but I will keep on viewing it always.

  • @suprmanz81 now that I call an idea !! great thinking (Y)

  • @suprmanz81 did u work there??

  • Hopefully the buyer doesn't want it with all the sigantures and they put this car when it really belongs, In the Henry Ford Museum.

  • thank you, for all the folks down at STAP, for building these fine Vehicals, and for doing so for all these years of hard work.

A proud 2008 Crown Victoria owner from the middle east.

  • I feel really sad for this video, because i love crown victory, it's was very good car for last 30 years

  • dam really upset over this. thanks for the video you work at the plant?. hard to see and know this will be the last of my fav. car. they should of preserved this Vic. somewhere in St. Thomas or Canada! upset about it leaving to Saudi. last car of it's kind and it was Candian made never knew that for the longest time thanks Ford!

shows how nice these were they didn't change much to the body since 98 probably cause of how great looking these cars were. will be greatly missed.

  • Do you have footage of the last grand marquis?

  • @DarkElfDiva No do not

  • I love you Crown Vic. I hate you FORD for making me CRY !

  • وربي حراااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااااام ليه كدا :(

  • where she is go ?

  • I love this. But I dislike it. Such a sad time in American automotive history. Nothing will be able to replace the Panthers. My Dad just bought a silver 2005 Grand Marquis. I love my 98 Grand Marquis. It's getting a little worn, but it still runs and drives like Panther-beast and looks better than most cars from 98 you'll ever see.

  • جتني الصيحة تهئ تهئ :(

  • @i3bdulghani هههههه حسافة عاد احسن سيارة عندي الفورد فيكتوريا

  • Great video Supermanz, too bad we had to close, would have loved to put in a few more years.

  • sad.... end of a car era

  • Awwww man :( I almost had a tear pop out. I love the Panthers

  • I will buy this car it was sent to my country saudi arabia i will find it and take care for this beauteful car

  • they stop with the Crown Victoria, but yet, the prius lives on. how unjust is that?

  • Thanks for the great feedback. Glade everyone enjoys my video, even though its not on the best of terms. Be sure to join my Facebook page in support of both the Vic and the St. Thomas plant.

    Search for.....

Keep the St Thomas Assembly Plant open and producing Vehicles

  • @furious94ls Yes its Ford's best sedan in the full size range on the last platform known as the panther this is the end of the line of the LTD/Crown Victoria/Town Car/Grand Marquis/Mauradur/Continental line up of cars its the best full size lineup since the Mustang.

  • Comment removed

  • I feel sorry for you Jaime my dad lost his job at FMC ! :( Now I know what it is the meaning of outsourcing.

  • At first they shut down the plant in Mawah, New Jersey in 1980 my dad lost the job the format went on and the they move production to St.Louis, Missouri then they outsource production to Canada back in 1984 and now they idled the plant in St.Thomas you lost your job so what's next ? Australia I don't know I think FMC should rethink things to give you guys another product to make, I hope you find a birghter future where you have a stable job thank you for sharing this video Jaime.

  • Amazing how out of all the American cars, they decide to get rid of the BEST ONE. These cars are excellant.

  • When the last time I saw this video I was looking on videos of the LTD and its predecesors,my dad had a green LTD and worked in Mawah as production of this format has been tossed around until it became the panther platform, they use to make it in Mawah, NJ as globalisation sucks at the end thank you for making a great job even though the outsource of US jobs to other countries hurt but now this is more paiinful when they took jobs away the outsourcer. :( I'll miss those Galaxies,LTDs and CVs.

  • Comment removed

  • the crown sucked. buy japanese

  • @KrewProducti0ns Yup....you're a douche, though it wasn't hard to call that one.

  • @KrewProducti0ns When your parents jobs are loss because of close down, let's see who'll be sucking then.

  • The last true american sedan, the Taurus doesn't even hold a candle to this. Why didn't they make a new version of the crown vic? throw in some new technology, a new interior, a 3.7 V6 and 5.0 V8! It would have been perfect.

  • @rossballard1

Nope, hed be behind the wheel of a massive 60's model Imperial

  • That car Should not be shipped overseas it should be in the Ford museum. This is the last Full frame Rear wheel drive car built ending a 100 years of automotive history.Sad very Sad

  • @ddtedsauto Amen! The Ford CVPI in my own personal opinion is the worlds best car. Even if i were a multi millionaire and could buy any number of more expesive vehicles, the CVPI would always be number one. I still have my 2000 Ford CVPI I bought in Oct 2003. I will get a 2009 or 2010 CVPI next year as soon as one is "decommissioned" from police service

  • @ddtedsauto I thought exactly the same!

or atleast keeping it in the USA, where it belongs

and I wonder why ford is being so damn stupid

I bet they made a couple of millions selling the crown vic to nearly all PD's in the usa and canada

and now they've killed a car legend!

  • its good that there are soo many of them and that they are very reliable!! so luckily we will see them for years to come!
