But the Flip Video Cam Recorder takes up to much MB, for eg. I made a 8 min video and GUESS WHAT!!! IT TOOK UP 568.8 MB JUST FOR A 8 MIN MOVIE!!!

With a Mac you can click on the file and choose "info" that will give you the file size. On a PC, I believe you left click on the file and choose "properties".

I edited my video in my computer so that I could add text and transition effects, then added it to flipshare. When I tried to share it, an error message said it was too large. How do I know what the file size limit is?

Flipshare now works with Windows Live Movie Maker on Windows 7 as well as i-movie and Final Cut. We've purchased 10 Flip Cams at our College and they are a popular check out item. Professors are encouraging students to submit video reports instead of standard term papers.

For the record. I agree my presentation was stilted. I thought I sounded more like Kermit the Frog.

my flip software looks diffrent from ur and i have the ultra hd. i also can never take a snapshot with the software, i cant import them into windows movie maker but by reading the comments i guess you cant. my main problem is my program looks alot diffrent and it doesnt work worth a shit

@Pufflestudio09 you could, but youtube won't accept the format movie maker turns your videos into. If you wanted to post the vids, you should use the flipshare program.

Useful tutorial, I mostly need to be able to cut and arrange clips and add music, but if I want multiple mp3s I may need to try and use windows movie maker but I don't think that'll work in HD?

click on the start button bottom left, go to control panel then click on install/unistall button.

Scroll down to find "Flip Share" and click to uninstall. Once uninstalled, the next time you connect your flip video camera, it should reinstall the Flip share program
