Mike Cross is the master of funny songs - love his stuff! BTW, I sang this song in a little cliffside honkey-tonk in West By-God VA one night back in the 80s, and the whole house bought me a round :-)

Tempo is perfect, this is the way I learned to sing it. Great anectdote. I like the inbreeding intro just fine. But don't do it in West By God Virginia they have no sense of humor. Been there done that. Love ya Mike.
