In the Old Testament, the solution to the unborn children conceived in the sexual orgies in the fertility groves was sacrificing them to the idol, Molech. This was a graven image made of iron, under which a fire was lit. The live baby was then placed upon the arms of the idol and burned alive. In our times, what else can you liken the practice of abortion to... but to a modern-day Molech?
