  • This is a different song from Robert Johnson's 32-20 Blues. I had the privilege or seeing Muddy twice in my life. He WAS the Hootchie Kootchie Man.

  • alan lomax what a motherfucker one

  • The picture is amassing!

  • Never heard this before and its good. Muddy Water sounds like he indeed lived in the foot steps of Robert Johnson.

  • Damn!!! I can't believe I've never heard this before. All the blues i've listened to over the years, how could I have ever missed this one. Loved it.

  • Sweet thats old school

  • @whasudr This is not Old School, THIS IS THE BLUES.

  • @arjhendrix In 1935 Stovall invented the first burr-clover harvester. Son Simms and Muddy wrote this tune at the request of Howard Stovall. Simms is on second guitar.

  • @sugarmamaaa This is a Robert Johnson tune

  • @corosian Right you are.... got this mixed up with Burr Clover Blues.

  • @corosian Johnson's version is itself a cover of "22-20 Blues", which Skip James played on the piano.
