Every time I visit my friend Christine;s grave.I come away thinking of a Moodies song as inspiration.I miss her lots. This song befits her.Mike Pinder is a genius and always will be if not a Moody Blues member
THERE WAS A MIKE -SHAPED, HOLE IN THE MOODIES MUSIC AFTER HE LEFT, AND IT WAS MORE THAN NOTICEABLE! HIS CONTRIBUTION TO THE MOODY BLUES MUSIC WAS, AND, STILL IS ASTOUNDING, THANKS MR PINDER!
It sure felt great being 21, I'll tell'ya! Yeah, that's how old I was back in 1978! I do miss it, I do! I still have the (mint) British pressing of "Octave" in my LP record collection - talk about one of my most prized possessions ever! All the best, Mike!
Wow! Amazing video and great song. How did you create the images for this video? It is absolutely brilliant! I have been a Moody Blues fan since '71, but I have never heard this song. Peace.
@makingsense53 it was on there album octave which ironicly was the one when they got back together and mike pinder left the group [ there is rerecorded version by mike pinder in here tottaly differant arrangement ] the differant levels of transcendental meditation are : attention -concentration -meditation -cosmic concsiousness -eternity axis .
@makingsense53 meditation, its like this there are always thoughts comeing into your mind moment by moment but your supposed to cut them off and hold on to the mantra but when your in meditation your in alpha wave state so the thoughts are differant [if somebody was drinking beer and not meditating just sitting in the dark the thoughts would be differant ] im not saying that meditation is intoxicating , when meditating doesnt feel any differant the way your body feels at least not with me
Beautiful. The most under-rated Moodies track ever (well, until YT came along). In my top ten all-time tracks, maybe somewhere in my top one. And a fitting video for Mike's most excellent Moody swansong. This will be played in 500 years time.
ah this song saves again and again --- pure light -- pure love -- Michael needed to go no further -- he reached the ultimate in this song == thank you brother
Thank you so for sharing this with us all! Love this song and have tried many times to find a video for it! Great video interpretation~ Thank you again!
Wow!! That was Breathtakng!! It took me back a good few years I Think it was from 'Octave' and performed by Graeme Edge [memory not as good anymore] but the Graphics to this are Stunning!! Very well done and a Big thank you to Wolfgang for the share!!
The last Pinder Moodies song....what a gem. Likie a rare diamond that has been found, this video and wonderful tune have made YouTube in rich splendor! Mike was at his prime - as was the band. They certainly left a mark on millions of souls - that is something few achieve. Thanks for posting this, a top ten Moodies song.
Many thanks indeed for posting this superb video which is a perfect accompaniment to this wonderful and inspiring piece of music. I'm sure if Mike Pinder were to view this he would be very impressed. This was Mike Pinder's final contribution before he left the Moody Blues - what a way to bow out!
Exquisite job as always iE - hi MJ could write a book of All seen & heard here - beautiful. Guitars have a slight Thin Lizzy sound in this gentle song! Namastè friends ;.)
I still love this more than any other vid/music...

Truly one of the great voices of our time. For me, this was the last true Moody Blues album, and the finest song on it.
