RPG and shooter games GENERALLY (I'm not saying all the time) require much less skill than RTS games. When the video says that StarCraft requires insane skill, they mean it, because during every battle insane multitasking is required. You have to constantly train units, multiple pronged attacks, draw back individual injured units in armies that may have over 75 moving and attacking units, while all the while managing income, spending, and supply usage. Yes I love StarCraft

Videogames do affect morals and lifestyles, just look at how the US military has utilized it for recruitment. There have been videogames that have made people think about the concept of life and its lessons and these people have changed their morals.

In addition to my previous comment, I only INDIRECTLY bashed religion because I tried to poke fun of you. Like the followers of religion, they rely on imagination/faith and are overthinking the way things are instead of looking at it analytically. As I said before, games are there for pure entertainment (never said it was bad) and this video (if I remember correctly, saw it 4 months ago) is trying to get into ethics, morals, lifestyles, etc which is just ridiculous.

If you think correctly, the video is only half right. Video game do affect moral and lifestyles. You can see this from youtube postings like people on Halo who curse constantly and people who rage quit.

The reason why the video get into ethics because if you watched other related videos about gaming evolution you will find one of the videos interviewing middle eastern game makers. They make games solely on the purpose of religion.

Gaming behavior (swearing and rage quitting) does not reflect on person's morals and lifestyle outside of gaming unless it is taken too far. (Gamer addicts which are not mentally sane and need rehab anyway. Just like drug addicts and alcoholics)
