Thank you WDAS Philadelphia for bringing this song in my life. I was up rooted from my Chicago home and placed in a place I didnte understand. This song made it alright!!!

though this is my first time hearing this.. IM REALLY FEELING THIS!!!im 42 years old and i cant belive i sleept on this gem all that time.u can add this to my play list when i throw my 70's party...great song!!!
I wanted this to be my wedding song!!! I LOVED THIS !!! In 86 was at a friend house in NY,who claimed he had the album..we could not find it. Years later found it at a record store in Atlanta on CD.
This is 1 of my mom's favorite songs EVER!! I grew up lovin this tune im 23 years old & has had it with me all my life im VERY sure im here because of this song....Thanks BLOODSTONE!!
Brainstrom and Bloodstone are two different groups. They are easy to get confusied. When I first heard this song, back in early teens, I thought Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. My father was a "part-time" Country Music Song Writer. He heard this song and loved it. Back then, I would get the two groups names confused. Today's R&B Ballads are not like they once were. Most of them are "rip offs" from groups like Brainstrom who had talent. I love the horn section! What ever happened to Brainstrom?
I love to be out in a rural area, away from all the world's problems, and listening to this beautiful song. I recall when it was released. I was in Jr. High then. I'm white, 47, years old, and I can't understand why this was not a bigger hit than it was. Maybe it should be released again in the 2000's. I chuckle at the post on here, so many great kids made becuase of this song, that are now fine, outstanding adults. Why can't there be more good music like this?
@tnlance1 I am White (not that it matters) also, and this is my favorite song on this planet, I work out to it, drive to it, and what ever else. please all play this for you children, keep this type of music alive!

@Mothergoose1913 Oh my goodness what basements were you in because I grew up in Chicago and went to quite a few basement parties myself. I would love to know.
@Rightside56 It's not on that album because that's not the group who the song was recorded by. This album, in vinyl form might be found at a used record store or something of that sort, but it has been out of print for a very long time. The cut "This Must Be Heaven" can be found on a CD called "WDAS Classic Soul Hits Volume 2."
Brainstorm was a great band that got slept on. This is a great ballad, but you should check out their jammin' stuff like "Hangin' On', "Stomin', "Easy Thangs" and "Wake Up and Be Somebody". That whole album was good. (A brain with a lightning bolt on the cover)
