I love Act 1 too. It's been closed for remodeling for the last couple years. The Sharonville Fine Arts has it looking nice (from the outside) and tells me they will start showing movies in April 2009.

(I'll bet they jack their prices up to $2 a head...)

Sharonville is my home turf. I lived there from age 6 to 16. There are lots of interesting places to go to around Sharonville Ohio. Act 1 Theatre is the shit!

Unknown structure - It's a retention dam. Much of the hill rainwater drains here. In a heavy downpour, this place fills up and drains slowly in to Sharon Creek.

There are times when the creek overflows even with this dam.

"Security vehicles"  Oh, you mean the cops. This is a favorite place for them to talk, eat lunch, etc. We went down there once without knowing this. As we walked down, the cops saw us see them. The party was over. Six cop cars came out, one after the other.

i'd forgotten the "holy shit" bit too and i laughed as well.. - totally spontaneous.. - they weren't bad.. - texturally they were so fluffy.. - some type of mutant snack, to be sure.. - the fried chicken aspect was kind of toned down, so it wasn't offensively trying to taste like meat.. - they were actually quite sweet.. - i love that place..
