  • I'm going to use this for my massage music. Thanks!

  • where is the video filmed?

  • This is seriously the most relaxing music I've ever heard. It's beautiful.

  • Love these guys! I become a better man with every song I hear.

  • this is very nice!

  • Ubiquitously piquant

  • someone needs to learn how to use a tripod

  • @stgodd LOL!

  • the shakiness adds a very good effect to the film. many good movies today use this hand-held technique because not only is it quicker than setting up a tripod, but it looks better to some people.

  • sorry, but no.

i agree that "handheld shackiecam" can give a good affect in some circumstances but this is not one of them.

the point is that in this video the camera shake is so minimal that it is very off-putting. it appears asthough they wanted the camera to be still but it isnt.

  • tell that to Steven Soderbergh

  • care to point me to a particular scene/film where he does this sucsessfully then?

  • Many scenes in Traffic. A couple of them can be seen in a video I uploaded called "Ambient Music - Cinematography". Just search for it on my page.

  • ok i watched it. i feel all of the parts with shake were used with the intention of helping with immersion. i agree that those clips were good and the shakiecam was well used.

however i still do not agree that the shaking in this video is a good thing. there is no need for immersion and it feels like the shake was unintentional. the shaking does not add anything positive to this video.

  • I just think that maybe Basketballerke just didn't either have a tripod or have time to set up a tripod. Some of those shots were quite quick and perhaps it was just easier to film hand-held style.

  • now i fully agree with that, and those were my origional thoughts when watching this video.

  • Oh. Alright then, sorry for the confusion.

  • @stgodd

Not even the sense of being with the videographer? seemed personable to me...

  • How about just 'bleddy good'.

  • Ravishingly fascinating.

  • Nice song, nice video, but what's up with the overly thoughtful comments? I've never seen two extremely intelligent comments on the same video before; YouTube usually isn't a place of intelligence.

  • @CrookedX777

What's funny is I've been listening to a lot of this sort of music and every single video has the same overly thoughtful comments.

  • @CrookedX777

Good point. Normally you'd expect to see people calling each other "fags" and "retards" when you log on...

  • Luxuristically orgasmic

  • Exquisitely cinematic.
