I want to check out this series, but respectfully I must disagree that people are not born evil. There are early signs in a childhood that we are. No child has to be taught to be bad, they instinctively know how to be bad. It is a parents job to teach them to be good, but even in the best of homes a child is still inclined to do bad. If it were the opposite we would have to be taught to do evil.

Uhh not exactly.

For instance a child just wants something, and there's something in the way. It doesn't care what it has to do to get what it wants it just does what it needs to do to get it. In this instance we're taking about a child that doesn't yet have an understanding of right and wrong yet. Not in the way mature people do. Kids aren't born as good or evil... Kids are just born as kids. End of story
