Wonderful, who can sing like this?So much of interest, zeal, ambition and efforts into every song.Amazing, she defined the medal "Bharat ratna".Excellence is the only word that can define MS amma.
Wow! She must be 80-81 in this video... just imagine the kind of practice (or should I say sadhakam) she must have done to keep singing like this even at that age. And what feeling!....what sublime bhava!
PS : While a lot is written about MS Amma's voice, not much is written about her relentless efforts to maintain it in it's sublime form...

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins, was buried and rose again so that all who BELIEVE on Him will have eternal life in Heaven. Call upon Jesus Christ and believe on Him for eternal life! God loves you, and Jesus is the way to Heaven.
Is it just me that or is the video slightly out of sync with the audio? I can see the words getting mouthed earlier than the sound (I guess since light travel faster than sound :-) ). Of course, none of this takes away from the divinity of MS' singing.
@Chempadu123 Like all other Indian languages , Telugu is a derivative of Sanskrit and not Tamil. Some Tamil historians however claim Tamil is not a derivative of Sanskrit, but has an independent origin.
I am not a Teluguite and my Telugu is very rustic, learnt from being around with Telugu friends at college. I attempt only to provide a gist, from what I know of the language:

Talli here means O Mother. I am sure Sri Shyama Sastry meant that with all his bhakti
Talli, more often than not means mother - goes with Tandri for father.

Syam Krishnuni sodhari kaumari Bimbaadhari Gowri
Hemapaangi Lalitha paradevatha - These are devi's names, with Shyama Krishnuni sodhari meaning "Sister of Shyama Krishna"
Kamakshi ninnu vinaa bhoomilo prematho
kaappaadevaarevaru unnaarammaa thalli - Kamakshi, but for you, who on earh would, with love, protect and save us, O woman
Note: Thalli - is a common way of referring to a woman in Telugu, like "amma" in Tamizh.

thanks chandru for the tanslation. No doubt Telugu is a derivative of Tamil. This one song is a solid proof
