Johnny was an okay singer but he had no experience and should've aked a few new lessons. He also made sweeney WAY too calm. The real sweeney is completely mad, Johnny makes him too subtle.

I've been in six musicals, a symphonic band, and I'm a trained singer. Even if I hadn't, you don't need to have done something yourself to recognize when it's done badly.

Johnny did great with the singing, but Helena was terrible. Her songs needed to be transposed into a tiny range, she had no power, no tone, and even with the benefit of multiple takes there's still one or two flat notes. I know what I'm talking about, friend; you can enjoy her, but she was a technical mess.
