your going to have way to high belt ratio. you might have to make some kind of belt or a heavy chain reduction so you dont get that thing spining to fast.
I'm kinda worried about that. This is the biggest rim that I have. I am thinking that if the tractor turns it to fast, I might just mount a small Briggs motor on the frame. Something nice and gutless! I'll try the tractor first and see what happens though.

well just make your self a jackshaft with a small pulley to reduce the belt speed going to the big pulley on your splitter
