We have similiar issues in Australia to the UK, where lots of people feel let down by the major parties despite being in a period of economic prosperity. Although parties like the BNP are gaining support, I don't think people are generally speaking embracing their beliefs. The main problem lies with the major political parties, and their inability to meet present and future challenges.
