  • man...the string/choir at 0:54 sounds lovely :D, tempted to sample it from this clip to use in FL haha

  • My favourite synth of all time, played by, my favourite composer. I have the VST version, but it's no comparison to the real thing. They claim, it weighs a ton. this baby seems to have a mind of it's own, as demonstrated, a slight twiddle here and there, and the sound changes a lot, a analog dream. I simply love the horns, no wonder Vangelis liked them and used them so often. an absolute classic, I'll get one someday. Thanks for posting. LOL .

  • :53 ....

  • I really love this synth...

  • for ever...vangelis

  • Today there's no progression.

  • @NelSonOfABitch ::rolls eyes:: Yes there is. I get so tired of comments like this. Stop listening to top 40 and stop being a passive listener. There is plenty of progression.

  • Anyone know what reverb he was using then?

  • THE lexicon 224x. The best reverb unit ever made in history. I will have one someday.

  • I've notice Vangelis is a natural teacher, as well as a great musican and composer!

  • He is amazing, as is the CS 80.

To me, it just sounds like the backround music from Doctor Who in the early 80s.

Im pretty sure Peter Howell owned a CS 80.

Check some of the episodes out if you like this. :)

  • Correct, the sting and bassline of the Howell Dr Who theme were done using a Cs-80

  • Amazing artist.

  • vangelis will never die and nither will the cs-80. VANGELIS RULES!!!!!

  • Cool video. I would love to see the whole thing!
