  • @Zam919 whats the name of the adaptor you used? good vid too:)

  • @BeccaFrazzle Hi Becca, sorry for the late response, I just saw your message. The Adaptor is a photo diox adapter for Micro 4.3rds, what camera do you have?

  • hey, this isn't a special micro four thirds lens, is it...because from my knowing, canon doesn't make micro four thirds.

how did you get it to work an the g10?

  • @sexDrugsNrockNroll1 You buy an adaptor for it, Canon to m43. Only 20 bucks on amazon.

  • @Zam919 cool!...and how does it work? only manual focus?

  • @sexDrugsNrockNroll1 You have to buy an adapter for Canon to Micro four thirds, they are cheap, like 20 dollars on amazon.

  • @Zam919 jup thanks :) bought one and also bought a nikkor 85mm 1.8 ...really great setup with very dreamy bokeh and very shallow dof :D

  • GORGE

  • wht is more better Fz35 Or G10 and why??? plz rep soon

  • @AbdullahAlwakil The G10 is much better than the FZ35 in that the sensor is larger and you can put virtually any kind of lens on the G10 with an adapter

  • Hi ! I´ve a question, for movie feature, DPREVIEW recommend the G2 instead G10. They said the "motion JPEG" who brings the G10 are not good for further edition as AVCHD that provides the G2. I need this camera only for movies, this would be my second camera (I Already have a EOS T2i). Did you have problems to edit the Motion files? I will appreciate your help... Thanks !!!

  • @skrupnik Actually the motion JPEG files are EASIER to edit than the AVCHD files. The JPEG files are larger and take up more space on your card but are far easier to edit then the AVCHD and I havent see much quality difference between the two. I would suggest going with the G2 however because of the articulating screen, the touch focus and also the ability to plug in a stereo microphone. The G2 also has focusing tracking of moving subjects which even the GH2 doesnt have !!!

  • how much time will a 4GB card hold in 720p? will it keep recording video until the card memory runs out? or is there a file size/time limit?

  • @xetown Honestly I cant quite remember because I never shot really long pieces with it, always just alot of short clips. I believe 10 minutes is 1 gig and the camera will continue to shoot until the card is full.

  • Awesome video ! I am also trying Canon 50mm 1.8 with G10 but my results are no where near this. Manual focus is a pain. Is this audio from onboard mono mic ? How were the light condition and what settings did you use ?

  • @viveksikri Well I was outside in a park with plenty of light and the sun was out and shining nice. Manual focus is a pain but if you can get it right the results are worth it. I hate manual focus, especially on moving objects. Manual focus works better for planned seq.Remember that to get the shallowest depth of field make sure the aperture on the Canon is wide open and also the closer you get to the subject the shallower the depth of field. As with everything, good light is key.

  • @Zam919 Thanks

  • Ok let me understand this. I can get a G10 put an adapter on it and get lets say a Tamron 18-270vc on it? Having then an equivalent of 36- 540mm in 35mm terms? For the price of the G10 it would be very well worth it.

  • @Lynxtpm Yes, you can get an adaptor for almost ANY lens for the m/43 mounts and use them quite efficiently on the G10. The only drawback (for some) is that you have to use manual focusing. The G10 is lovely, look at my Video of the horses and see even better looking footage from that Camera.

  • @Zam919 Hey Zam919, I've had the Panasonic Lumix G10 for several months now and have been using the included 14-42mm kit lens. I love the camera...it takes amazing photos and video...but, i am thinking about purchasing a new lens. The videos on your channel shot using the 50mm f1.8 lens look beautiful! However, the 50mm will not manual focus with the G10... is it annoying to use manual focus instead of autofocus all the time? Hows the manual focus ring?

  • @OceanicCoast Well right now, aside from using Panasonic or Olympus lenses, you are going to be forced to use Manual Focus. Its a headache for me too. If you are looking for a fast lens that will give you a shallow depth of field but still be able to use your Auto focus modes, you can always get the Panasonic 20mm 1.7 for your G10. It will also allow you to shoot in lower light situations that your kit lens cant with the 3.5 aperture.

  • @Lynxtpm Yes, thats the great thing about the M43 system is that you can use almost any lens on it and yes you will get twice the focal length because of the crop feature.

  • How is the battery life of this camera? And does it record video for only a certain time or does it record as long as you have space on the memory card? How would you rate the video quality?

  • @alphacat626 The battery life is great. Last me almost an entire day of shooting stills and video. I havent found a recording limit but im guessing its in the 20 minute per clip range. The camera only shoots in MJPEG video so the files are larger than the avchd files in the other G cameras. The video quality is great , not problems and it looks good being only 720p. I would say spend the extra money and get the GF2 or even a little more the GH2 for all the other features.

  • milky....the fotodiox adapter was 20 bucks on amazon, lens was 90. no issues with the adapter at all.

  • @MilkyGalaxies No editing, this came straight from the camera. This is G10 with a canon adaptor and the very cheap but nice 50mm 1.8 lens.

  • @Zam919

Wow Amazing! Okay I'm getting this!

How much did you play for it?

Did you use the Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter?

One more question, once you attach the Lens adapter you still can remove back off and on easily? Cuz I heard someone complaining that it won't come off.

  • Did you edit the video? if yes what program?

Btw very nice videos!! I'm planing to get a Panasonic g10, and I have some canon lenses.

  • Nice one Zam! We should edit a bunch of these together! LOL

  • I was doing a test to see if the MJPEG files from the Canon would load to Youtube unaltered and I was successful.
