Im 29 yrs old. I remember being in my early teens hearing every monday night football game on the radio just to hear Jack Buck. I would turn down the tv volume and turn up the radio. As well as the baseball playoffs and world series. I absolutely loved hearing him; and i didnt even know who he was or what his name was. Absolutely the best!

When I was stationed in Texas in 1967, I became familiar with Jack Buck, he was doing the Cowboys' games then. What a class act! Even a Cub fan like myself can respect and appreciate all JB brought to the game. Any list of "Greatest Announcers of All Time" that doesn't contain his name is simply bogus. We still miss him.
