I bought automotive primer for plastics, metallic base coat, and clearcoat from a local automotive paint store. I also had access to a spray gun and a booth. I have also found Home Depot carries CO2 sprayer that screws onto a glass jar (Revel?). These would work well on smaller projects like this.

what brand of paint do you use ? is it a spray can paint ?
