I love the line "I'm the hero of this story, don't need to be saved." It's said so indignantly. It really captures the climax of 500 Days of Summer, when this song is played. When it's repeated, the music and words feel like a plea, which I think is why it's so sad and so effective. Props to Regina, her songs really make you feel.

That, and once you get in into your fingers, you find that it's pretty simple of a song to play. Same chords repeated.
