It is unfortunate that the longer we stay in Iraq the more irritated they become with our presence in their country, I feel they have every right to lash out. The bottom line is you wouldn't like to be told how to run your country no matter what condition it is in, especially when the people who tell how to fix your country and destroy it anyway. Yes I am talking about our U.S military
ya i f**kin love youtube.. Its funny because Obama is saying the same thing as Bush now. Oh buut he used to be so against the war. now israel and us are gonna do the same thing to iran if they dont discontinue nuclear power 4 their electricity.CORPORATE POLITICS SAY STAY AND FIGHT AND WE"LL RUB YOUR BACK WITH WEALTH. LENDERS SAY BUILD CREDIT AND WE"LL RAPE YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOURE WORTH IF U FUDGE. people need to standup and make a limit on how the wealthy can make money again. NADER 08'!
I hear Will Smith is going to do a movie/biograpy about the Obama family . He was the only one that had big enough ears for the job . The special effects guys couldnt even help . They got Oprah Winfrey for Michelle and Im not sure whos playing the kids Slappy and Ferret . Theyer going to call it "The Colored Purple" yes that right you heard it here first !
We have destroyed Freedom of Religion in the country (most Christians & Jews have now left)& we have taken away many of the rights that women formerly had & we have destroyed the best educational system in the M.E. We have also left large areas of the country in ruins. And now we want no-bid contracts for our oil companies.
The US had huge bases in the Philippines. Around '93 the Philippine govt notified our govt...in writing...that we were to vacate the bases by a set time. We did.
We'll do the same in Iraq. But they need to provide it in writing via normal diplomatic channels...not in a throwaway comment during an interview.
Here's the truth; the Iraqis are posturing for their upcoming elections, and do NOT want us to leave until they can handle the security on their own.
When did the U.S. government notify the world they were going to invade a country that did nothing to them? Do you believe the invasion of Iraq was done via "normal diplomatic channels"?
The same people who argue there will be chaos if America leaves are the same people who thought it was a good idea to go into Iraq in the first place. They have zero credibility and no one should take them seriously.
d991: Your post is incoherent. I think you're trying to say that since the invasion was wrong (your opinion) the rules of diplomatic relations between the Iraqi govt (democratically elected) and our govt (which you imply should be completely disregarded because they have "zero credibility") can be ignored.
So how do these two nations conduct diplomatic relations? I guess you believe it's irrelevant...everybody should just do what you want done.
that's not what i remember. the philippine gov't always depended on huge rent checks from the US to finance their military (under marcos) or to subsidize their economy (more recently) after the pinitubo eruption severly damaged clark and subic bases, and with the USSR out of business in the area and elsewhere, the decision was made to vacate and save the billions in cleanup & rent expense
cloudshe: with all due respect, you remember incorrectly. We left when the Philippine Senate finally mustered enough votes to tell us to leave. That was the key event that started the ball rolling.
But, I do agree our govt didn't have much desire to retain the bases by 1992 (Pinatubo damage, high cost of "rent" paid, and end of the Cold War).
I'm sure we apply diplomatic pressure according to our priorities, but when democratically elected govts tell us to vacate, we vacate.
The masses need to "IMPEACH", the US is imploding call your represenitives. Just tell them they will be out of a job if they don't stop funding the war. Do the best you can !!!
And we, people, think this is normal. We see the governments rubbing shit in our faces, and we think best thing we can do, is get outraged at them from safety of our homes.
Finally those Iraqi's will pay for invading ... Poland in '39! Oh, wait. That was Israel, right?

John McCain is a NIGHTMARE! A NIGHTMARE!
John McCain is not only a war-mongering IDIOT, he is SENILE!
He can't wait to start WWIII! Can't Wait!
All McCain knows is WAR...SCREW the economy, healthcare or any other concerns! Let's just bully everyone throughout the world!
John McCain graduated 892 in a class of 896 in the Naval Academy!
He is arguably as dumb, evil and warmongering as the one we have in office now!

The Iraqi people want us to leave.
Their leaders want us to leave.
But we are the dictator there now.

Who can blame them for wanting us to leave?

do you really want Dick Cheney as president?
shuu7777 3 years ago 3
There's nothing wrong with impeaching them both, I think an effective strategy might be censor them both. Take their decision making power away.
boots920 3 years ago 3
so it's pretty obvious you want pelosi for interim president, why don't you just say that & then take your licks
